What a lovely drive through Williams College we had. Stop and read the markers, enjoy the architecture and well-planned campus.

As a high school senior looking for a college, I was thoroughly enchanted and impressed by this college campus. I attended an info-session that was the best of my entire trip. Beautiful old and new buildings. My favorite was their Environmental Center!

This is a small liberal arts college in Williamstown, MA. It was originally a men's school but is now co-ed. It was established way back in 1793. The campus is spread out over several blocks in the idyllic New England town. It is the site of the summer Williamstown Theater Festival and the William College Museum of Art. If going... More

Fun to walk through and across the Williams campus, an historic liberal arts campus with an open feel. Nice little downtown, with shops, coffee, and restaurants, sleepy in summer.

The admissions office staff and student guide provided a personal, small group introduction to the college. The usual areas were covered including academics, housing, study abroad, extracurricular opportunities and admission. Williams' winter study term sounded meaty and fun (in contrast to Smith where the program is optional and poorly attended). Emphasized opportunities for experiential learning, research and personal education through... More

Exceptional small liberal arts college. However, the college is a little desolate with very few nearby amenities or shops in the town.

The campus is beautiful - somebody has been very aesthetically mindful as to how to artfully blend classic architecture with modern architecture - with the library being a perfect example. The town is quite charming - the majority of it is owned by Williams. I am certain the students are aware of the privilege it must be to attend such... More

Ok, so everybody knows that Williams is a great college. But what sets it apart from every other great school in the northeast? Well, Tutorials, for one. A tutorial is a class that consists of one teacher and two students. Yes, only two students! The point of the class is that students alternate researching a subject, writing a six page... More

My daughter started attending Williams college from fall 2014. She was accepted to many top schools including Harvard, UPenn etc but chose Williams. I could not have been happier :)). My daughter is finishing her sophomore year and strongly feel she made a wise choice. The classes are very challenging and expectations are very high but the faculty provide a... More

Williams' campus is actually a large composition of facilities and grounds that take up much of the heart of Williamstown. Many architectural styles are present and a stroll through town, or the center of campus is a delight.
