There is nothing more magical for young and old alike than to have a beautiful butterfly sit on your shoulder. It is amazing to be in the garden and experience this breathtaking moment.

Very educational with lots of different butterflies fluttering around. It makes a change from other places that only seem to have 2 or 3 species. There were many different species on view here. I spent about an hour and a half inside taking photos and saw a butterfly I hadn’t seen up till then. Yes you can certainly spent a... More

I was amazed at how many different types of butterflies they had and especially ones I had never seen. I recommend going on sunny days when it is a bit warm as the butterflies are more active. The atrium is small but sufficient. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. The staff was very eager to educate the visitors on... More

It was truly amazing too observe the multitude of butterflies actively flying around! Some even pose for pictures ! (Not really but they occasionally land on you and ,if you are quick, you can take picture of them)

We went with our 22 month old, and she thoroughly enjoyed the experience. There are hundreds of butterflies in a relatively small area, occasionally they land on you but it's mainly an open viewing area....an hour and a half or so is sufficient time to hang out. We used a groupon and it made the trip very cost efficient!

Had a magical time at The Butterfly Place. I couldn't believe the number of butterflies and the variety of colors. A photographer's paradise. It is on the small side, which didn't detract from the butterfly viewing, but I imagine it could get crowded.

I was so excited to bring my grandniece, 2 1/2 years old. We have been reading "The Hungry Little Caterpillar", so I thought she would enjoy it, I was wrong. In the live exhibit, she chose to remain in her stroller. She didn't have a happy look on her face. When a large butterfly landed on the stroller by her... More

We visit The Butterfly at the end of March 2016. We were able to get 2 discount tickets for 17.00 for the 2. The place is easy to find and about 2 miles off the highway. Upon entering you are in a small gift shop and the lady that takes the tickets was very pleasant but did warn you how... More

We've been here two times in the past two years. The place is awesome! Butterflies everywhere! Gorgeous environment! The staff are knowledgeable and want to answer all of your questions and your kids questions. It's hot in there though so don't wear heavy clothes or you'll want out of there within 2 minutes!
