This location is fantastic but poorly advertised, we are still hoping they improve the website and address this because it's very difficult to discover what's happening. The Big "E" in the Fall and "The Amherst Train Show" (biggest & best train/rairoad show around) are exceptional events. There are other great events like cattle shows & the circus but you have... The big E is always a fun day just to walk around and enjoy the sights. I would suggest not going on the weekends because of the crowds. If you get to the state buildings right at 10 o'clock when they open you do not have to fight any crowds. There are so many places to grab a snack or... More

Wonderful fair lots of interesting food. Much to see I go about 3times during its run. Good for families. Once you pay entrance fee, which is cheap, $12.00 , all shows are free.

FINALLY found a parking attendant who put us on right path. This is an older crowd-average age 60-but they... More

We have been going every year since 2002. It is an awesome place with tons of things to see and eat. Over the years I started noticing things that I consider"not consumer worthy". One is vendors that consistently short you on change. Once, maybe, - twice possibly, but when it happens consistently, it's no error. The second is misleading vendors.... More

It was in the 80's when I was last there with my class and family. I love the fried dough the most and pizza that was there.
