I spent my last summer as a j1 student in Martha`s Vineyard and I wasn`t able to bring all the medical books that I wanted from back home, but I was able to use the Vineyard Haven Library when I needed something which was really nice.

We visited this library several times during our vacation on Martha's Vineyard. Gorgeous library within easy walking distance of downtown. Great selection of books, magazines and comfortable seating. We rented a house with very limited access to the internet. WIFI at the library is fast and reliable. Nice staff. If you are working there on Friday afternoons during the summer,... More

This small town library has everything you need. A large collection of books and even more you can order from their system. Large selection of magazines and a nice reading area. Helpful staff and plenty of computers. If you are around for awhile you can even enjoy one of their adult or children's programs.

For a tourist destination, you don't necessarily expect a full library with professional staff. This is a lovely spot with plenty of books for adults, kids, and teens. Computers as well as work tables are available. I help shelve books when I visit as my resident friend is a volunteer - love libraries, even on vacation!

The VH Library is very nice! It's a great size and there's lots of places to sit and read or just relax and enjoy some quiet. Very fun, especially on a rainy day.

Free computer access, free paperback exchange, good bathrooms, this is a fabulous place to go on a rainy day, they have movie night, authors speakers, if they had a cafe and beds, you could live there

A great place with free computers and wifi. Nice selection of books for a small place. Comfortable couches in the magazine area to hang out on a rainy summer day.

We make it a habit to visit this library when we are on the island and want some good books for the beach. Friendly helpful staff. Excellent speakers from time to time.
