It was an exciting experience coupled with cold weather and fresh breath. The trip was so interesting, the people are lovely and hospitable. We visited the ote falls, the nature trail and the canopy Walkway. When you planning to visit, don't forget to visit Amedzofe.

Amedzofe is actually full of history. The role Amedzofe played during tge Ashanti wars to the German possession of the which atually gave birth to the contruction of Amedzofe Teacher Training College in the year 1880s. Much of this history still live through the stories and are alive today. One is encouraged to clim up the impressive Mount Gemi which bring you to a 12 foot iron cross erected at the top by the German American in 1939. For the restvof the story visit Amedzofe, connecting through the Volta Regional Capital city, Ho, to be precised.

We started our day at the Amedzofe Tourism Centre, where the staff welcomed us warmly. Our guide on the walk up Mt. Demi was delightful: very informative, charming, encouraging and engaging. The view from the top was really lovely. All in all, the visit was a wonderful way to get a nice view and orientation to the area.
