It is already less crowded since people tend to go to the one at carmen when you could oversee a closer chocolate hills. It has ample parking space.good thing here is that you could let the tarisier eat a grasshopper(they have 2 tarsiers) and be amazed how it eats. Cool beans.

Been in Bohol 3 times, but its my first time to visit here by motorcycle with my boyfriend... its really a nice view. If you want to see chocolate hills and to avoid crowded, just go Sagbayan peak..its overlooking to the chocolate hills. They have also a butterfly sanctuary with a colorful butterflies... there's also playground for children. Its really worth it to visit.

You’ll need to dedicate one day of your tour of Bohol if you plan to go to Sagbayan Peak. Its a private resort and recreation area about that’s quite far from the usual places and close tourist spots in Bohol.Along the way, you’ll be seeing mini chocolate hills and prepare from some rough roads. From there you can see several mini chocolate hills, its something similar to that in the Town of Carmen..A good place to start your photo sessions. The end of the path is where you’ll see giant Disney characters and T-rex.Cafe Bayadilio for fine dining needs.Food there is good.Near the ticket booth, you’ll find a cage full of trees and plants..That’s where some Tarsiers are housed. There’s also the butterfly dome… that.. as the name implies.. houses butterflies. There’s also a grotto and a Chapel.Oh, almost forgot.. One other attraction here is the Sagbayan Peak Water Park.So yeah.. basically, this place is an all-in-one tourist destination!!!Hope you could visit one of the peak elavation views destination in my hometown province BOHOL,PHILIPPINES..

This place could be an amazing experience if it was not for the attitude of some of the staff, which is totally out of character for the Filipino people who are generally very friendly, saying that everyone has a bad day so maybe this was the case

Pool is closed no, there is no water inside.
Maintenance of the park is very poor, seems to be not cared anymore.
View is very nice though better then chocolate hills, but it gets completely ruined by the loud "music" from trumped like speakers on every nice nature viewing spot... what a shame.

After the ferry ride from Cebu City and check in at the hotel in Tubigon, my girlfriend and some of her family took me to Sagbayan Peak for some relaxation and some food. I found it a very relaxing place to visit, the views are quite lovely of the area around Sagbayan including the Chocolate Hills. The place was fairly quiet so relaxing was very easy! Just sitting back and enjoying the view, a nice cold drink in hand as you chat is a pretty fine way of spending an afternoon. Okay the food at the cafe was not top class but it was tasty and it was not expensive so all in all nothing to complain about. There is a bit of a climb to get into the place but it is worth it (and it really was not that bad given I weigh 130 kilos!). There is a Tarsier display at the entrance too if you want to get up close to these small primates. All in all, an enjoyable and relaxing afternoon.

it's my first time to reach bohol area and it's not a good welcome because its raining when i reach tubigon port, the nearest port for me if you want to see chocolate hills immediately...because of the weather i don't expect anymore that i will enjoy my trip..i asked the driver where we can rest for a while for the rain dropped so hard.he bring us in sagbayan peak..i thought i was just an ordinary place like where we can rest.when we reached the area i never thought that it would be so amazing,it is where i saw for the first time ever chocolate hills, the view is so amazing, the foods are worth paying for,i just forgot what i have ordered but excellent taste of the food.this is the place where you can enjoy picture taking with the hills with not so much tourist..i will surely come back at sagbayan peak...try and it's worth!! :)

Much less crowds than it's commercialised other half with equal viewings. This peak is about 35 minute moped drive from the original chocolate hills location, but with same format of not needing more than 20 minutes there. At the start there are a few steps to climb to reach the peak with some interesting facts to read along the way. The views here are also great, but better still are the opportunities to take photos and walk around the site without the masses of tourists.
Sagbayan also includes more horticultural attributes to admire and more to do for kids such as life sized plastic animal features. Entry into the peak was completely free..
