We discovered this town by accident and really enjoyed our visit. The Falls themselves are very impressive and can be easily viewed from the sidewalk which goes across the bridge. The flow of water at the time of our visit was quite small, but it...More

Turner's Falls is worth a visit if you're in the area. It is approached by bridges, as it has river on many sides. It boasts some interesting architecture and several good restaurants (including Five-eyed Fox and Great Falls Harvest). A bit down at the heel...More

Lived here most of my life and have always returned. The river is beyond incredible with fantastic fishing, boating and swimming. Bird watching too. Eagles to egrets.

I moved to the village of Turners Falls -- the north end of the Town of Montague -- after living for 60 years in metro areas of 500,000 or more. It sounds like a cliche to say "this place is human-sized" but it fits: there...More

Great restaurants, sports shops, antiquing, upscale up cycled goods, nature museum and trails, great children's playground with town run water feature, fish ladder, near highways of Route 2 and 91. Worth the visit.
