Not having a car we choose this tour to see the area. The guide Graham has a extensive knowledge of the areas history, even the geology of the area. We choose the evening tour, on Graham’s suggestion so as to get the great sunset photo. Our 3 hour tour passed very quickly. Thank you Graham.

From the minute we were picked up we got a wonderfully informative account of the history of the Truro and Wellsfleet area. The 5.30 tour has the benefit of little traffic on the roads, enabling us to take photos when ever we wanted. The history was presented in a really interesting manner, 3 hour's just flew. A neat way of seeing the area.

Graham, the owner and tour guide of Pamet tours, took us, (3 cousins) on a wonderful private driving tour around Truro. Graham is a life long summer resident who loves Truro and a teacher and it shows in his tour. We stopped first briefly in Wellfleet harbor where we met him. He talked about the history of the railroad, historic buildings, and shipping. Then he took us on a beautiful drive down a peaceful dirt road in the Truro woods bordered by fall wildflowers. We explored the Long Nook area, stopped at the Highland center to learn about some Cold War history, continued to Highland Light and Pilgrim Lake before heading to the bayside to see Cold Storage beach (former location of an old ice house), Corn Hill beach, and Pamet harbor. Along the way we learned about the Pilgrims, saltworks, fishing, shipwrecks, and the railroad. It was a great mix of beautiful scenery and history. Graham is accommodating, friendly and knowledgable about his summer hometown. I would recommend the tour for adults and teenage children

Breathtaking Characteristic Scenery with a Narrated Back Story Memorable time spent traveling winding back roads exploring hidden coves, historical landmarks and panoramic views, an artist's smorgasbord. Graham provided historical pictures, postcards, and maps while sharing stories of the pilgrim’s first encounter, the development of the U. S. Life Saving Service along with maritime, natural and geological history. Captivating afternoon under a beautiful blue sky, wrapped in a warm ocean breeze.
