Nice walk down to a beautiful beach. Water is a bit cool but great. relaxing place to listen to the waves and watch the surfers.

Nice beach
Jul 2020
Went with family and friends Even with the Covid we kept our distance. Unlike longhook there is easy access to the beach. Water is cold early in July but we did dip. My daughter and boyfriend - who stayed later than we did - saw a whale breaching off shore. Seals are a regular sight but thank goodness no sharks - Enjoyable day

Nice beach
May 2019 • Family
My in-laws grew up on this beach and love it. We visited this beach on a cloudy, cold day. There weren't that many parking spots, but enough for our group to park and enjoy the view. Note the shark warning signs that are now posted.

Always a favorite as you can see the ocean from your car.

Not many parking spaces by the spot we are referring to (just 5) but we really enjoy sitting in the car sometimes while looking out over the Atlantic. Not many beach spots offer this. Grab a snack or bite to eat and enjoy the view.

I never get tired of visiting this beach. Great surf, seals, shells, rocks, dunes and never crowded. Dogs love it!

NOT Coast Guard beach in Eastham
Aug 2018 • Family
In reading the reviews, I think some people are confusing Coast Guard beach in Truro ( a town of Truro beach) with the Cape Cod National Seashore Coast Guard Beach in Eastham. This Coast Guard beach has a small parking lot, no facilities except port-a-potties and no tram service from a larger parking lot. That being said, it is one of the loveliest beaches on the cape with beautiful high dunes and seals and an occasional shark two. So don't go there... jk, I just don't want to share!

Beautiful beach!
Oct 2017 • Couples
Beautiful beach and huge! We visited mid-October. Weather was gorgeous and the beach was deserted. Easy to get to. No amenities, which probably makes it less busy as other places. We were only staying about a mile away. Were able to take our dog down on the beach later in the day.

Wide, clean, beautiful beach
Sep 2017 • Couples
We visited in the off-season a couple of weeks after Labor Day, and the weather and beach conditions were just perfect. There are just a handful of parking spots and no changing facilities here; however, we found this to be one of the best beaches along the CC coast. Access to the beach from the parking lot is a simple walk, no stairs involved. Saw more seals than people when we were there - all in all, a pleasant and relaxing experience.

Exciting place to see and be!
Aug 2016 • Friends
Rough surf which supplies its own entertainment- whether you enter it or not. Hundreds of seals visible at low tide (which means Great Whites cannot be far behind). Reachable by convenient shuttle with exceptions for handicapped.
Expect water temperature of between 58 and 61. Still not to be missed.
