Nice Asphalt Bike Trail - Nice to Get out of Wind on Sunny Day
Oct 2021
My wife and I walked most of the 1.9 mile one-way trail, for a total of about 3.7 miles on a sunny, yet windy morning. We stopped first at Meadow Beach - an expansive beach that is assuredly packed in the summer. The windy morning presented substantial white caps crashing onto the beach - not a day for sunning or venturing into the water. The beach had sign warning users of great white sharks - particularly in October...that's enough to keep me dry. We then proceeded to the bike trail. This is a level, very well-maintained asphalt trail. The trail's bushes/shrubs prevents any real view except for that of the trail, so don't expect to gaze upon the beach or water as you traverse the trail is you'll mainly see thickets/other tall grasses. Still, a nice way to get out of the wind on a sunny day.

Good access to the National Seashore
May 2021
Well worth a visit, by bike or walking. Less challenging than the better-known Province Lands trail area. And the trail has great beach access in an area with limited parking for cars.

Bike path to the beach
Aug 2019
It was a nice brand new asphalt trail. Not too long, ended up at the beach you could bring your beach gear to go for a swim at the end. Parked among the dune buggies and was very limited. One could find the beach at the other and park there. We went on a weekday so the parking would be a problem on the weekend.

Not open yet, but I rode it

I snuck onto this bike path on the 25th. Wider than it was and now with no bumps!
They're finishing another one from here to Coast Guard beach, but that one still needs paving.

It is 7/24/19 and the trail is still closed....was so looking forward to walking this trail. Instead walked the Sand Road to the beach and saw about 100 seals in the surf!

Dissapointed to find the entire 2 miles of this trail is closed until the spring of 2019, it's being repaired. Looking forward to riding the new trail next year!

Poorly Maintained.

Overgrown, no views of beach. Needs to be repaved and consequently was very uncomfortable to ride. Skip this short bike trail and head to the one at Race Point in Province Town which was incredible..

The Head of the Meadow Trail leading to the beach is quite nice. Very pleasant place and also recommend the beach itself.

Beautiful wildlife, needs re-surfacing

We really enjoyed biking through here, there are lots of birds to be seen, but we probably should have just walked it, as the trail is quite bumpy (although the fact that it was paved at all is appreciated).

Awful pavement

Bike path needs to be updated, it's very bumpy, there is a lot of insects flying around in the middle of summer so wear lots of repellent.
