About
Jobi Pottery is a "legacy" business in Truro, a cottage industry that has been in the same town for over 65 years! We make over 250 styles of pottery with designs that are truly Cape Cod originals - fish, octopus, cattails, blueberries, nautical themes and more! Come by and see our shop/gallery where we display ONLY Cape Cod made items and art by Cape Cod artists. OPEN Tues-Sat 11-4 in September and October.

Local pottery with colorful, well made items, the majority are good for better than usual reminder of your trip. It offers good customer service and is on Route 6 between Truro and Provincetown and next to a good ice cream and lunch place.

Wonderful designs, great owners

Whether it's fish, crustaceans or Cape Cod images this shop has wonderful items! Hand made in Truro, everything captures the essence of Cape Cod. The shop is tucked away, but the sign is always visible on the road. You've got to come for a visit, I do whenever I'm on the cape!

Fun designs but they chip too easily
Aug 2017 • Friends
I greatly admire the clever designs, but have never cared for the clunky mug shape they make with the uncomfortable handle. Also, the clay is not of a sturdy enough kind and chips more easily than most. I love my mug that has a beach scene on it (use it for a toothbrush holder).

Lovely place, inspiring owner

I had a great first visit to the Jobi ceramics shop. The owner was attentive, kind, and shared the history of the shop and business. She also pointed me to a few fun things to do locally! I loved the mid- century inspired style of the pottery. I would recommend a visit!

Well worth the drive from Yarmouth

You can purchase Jobi pottery is a variety of establishments around the Cape but going to their location in Truro provides the best selection. You also get to speak with the people directly involved in creating the pieces and learn about the history of the pottery and the pieces.
If you are driving down to P'Town you will see them on your left.Look for Bayberry Gardens and Landscaping on your left and Jobi will be further along on your left. You can also look for the Kinlin Grover real estate office on your left that they share a parking lot with. If you come to the Truro fire department you missed them. Remember this is a left hand turn so you might need to go past the location and make a u-turn to avoid oncoming traffic.
They also offer artwork from local artists that would be hard to find anywhere else.
They are wonderful people, with beautiful pottery available for purchase at reasonable prices. Plan on spending at least an hour there looking at and appreciating what they have created.

Keeping tradition alive

I have driven past this store for years, but after reading about their history in the museum at the Highland Lighthouse, I finally stopped by. Cute little shop filled with the wares of local artists and the pottery of course! I wanted to own a little piece of history and I would not say it is inexpensive, but what hand crafted items are.

Welcome, Back!
Jun 2016 • Solo
The familiar cottage on the road out of Highland Light with a simple, but intriguing sign "Jobi Pottery" was replaced by a private residence just a few years ago. But the lost has now been found with a new shop right on Route 6 with its welcome sign that beckons those interested in pottery. A new owner, a new lease, a new place, a new life -- all have brought a Truro favorite back to life. The pottery has a familiar touch but with new designs and colors that highlight its contemporary place on the Outer Cape.

Very nice, very very expensive

Beautiful works but they charge way too much. We did buy a coffee mug for our daughter but probably paid twice what it was worth.

This is a small gallery on Rt 6. It has many nice pieces but just too pricey for us. Also artwork was hanging on the wall, again very nice but priced too high for us
