We have been many times, but the last 2 weeks have not been so great. Took our family 1/15/23, the pin reset repeatedly stalled and we had to wait for service over and over again. They did give us the time that we had to wait back on the 2 hours we paid for.
Today we were on lane 36, and over and over again the number 2 pin kept falling out during set up, we asked a number of times to fix it. What upset us was that the mechanic came over to us and said that they had been working on that and did not have time to fix it. Why would you put us on that lane? We went to the manager, and she kept saying okay, never once did she say I am sorry, not a single word other than okay. It was the weirdest experience I have ever had, she smiled and said OKAY.
She did not have a name plate to show she was a manager and did not offer her name. We pay enough and we do expect to have the equipment work properly.

Came for a New Year's Eve event. The ticket supposedly came with VIP bowling for one hour, but they ran out of lanes immediately after starting. Total waste of time and money.
Definitely don't bother with any of their lame events.

I took my son to the arcade at Wamesit during school vacation week. We got $50 worth of credits to play in the arcade. 3/4 of the arcade games were down. After a telling the staff about that, they did send someone out to fix the games. Before we were leaving my son was so excited to cash in his tickets. We had to leave by 3:30 in order to pick up my other son...the staff told us that we could not turn in our tickets until 4:00. SO VERY DISAPPOINTING, especially on school vacation. Will not be going back there.

I’ve never been bowling where you couldn’t slide. On the first attempt, the floors were so tacky that I fell flat on my face.. you literally had to bowl like a child in a stationary position. I’ve been to some bad bowling alleys, and this one was the by far the worst. Granted it looked great, the maintenance of it was, I assume non existent. As a nit pic, they also don’t know how to oil the lanes themselves, and the electronic scoring system was almost usually incorrect. The pin reset also would reset out of order, meaning if you threw just 1 ball it would end your turn.. do like the tavern, and the golf simulator is great, the bowling definitely isn’t a focal point for management and should be valued as about half as it currently is.

I did think the facility was pretty cool but would never recommend booking an event unless you want to spend a small fortune because EVERYTHING is an additional cost. Here is a breakdown of what we paid.
We had 27 people in our group which consisted of 16 adults and 11 kids.
$30 per hour (lanes 1-5 for 2 hours) $300.00
$4 Adult Shoe Rental x 16 Adults $64.00
$2.50 Kids Shoe Rental x 11 Kids $27.50
Total for Bowling before Food & drinks $391.50
27 People @ $34.99 per person $944.73 (our cost before tax & gratuity)
Subtracting the cost of bowling from our per person cost leaves $553.23 for food and soft drinks before tax and gratuity. That’s $20.49 for food and beverages per person.
We went with chicken fingers, fries, and nachos for the group. We received one large platter of chicken, one large platter of fries, and a few regular sized plates of Nachos. When the platters were empty and only 3/4 of our group was fed, I was told that any more orders sent out would be at an additional cost because they only estimate two chicken fingers per person. $20.49 for two fingers, fries, a few nachos, an a soft drink??
My rating is low because of the value of the event. Again, the facility was really cool. I would go back with my family and try again without booking an event.
As a side note, I did address this with the manager at the time and they ended up sending out more food at no cost since not everyone had eaten at that point. I also sent an email to the sales associate I worked with and included the cost breakdown, but the only reply I received was that they would forward my message on to management. I haven't received any follow up messages since. Oh and if you're thinking of using the "VIP" room, just know it's an additional $50 cost and it's not even a private space unless (I am assuming) you book every lane.

I love the rustic atmosphere at Wamesit Lanes! They did an impeccable job creating this bowling alley and you feel like you are in a lodge in the Adirondacks. Our group got dinner first and it was ok. My sandwich was great, but fries were cold. Everyone else found the food to be alright as well. Bowling was so much fun!! We only did an hour and it was a perfect amount of time for 6 people. It’s very modern and they use tablets to put in the player’s name and you can see your stats, which you don’t see at other bowling alleys. The screen will also tell you how much time is left in your game. It got really competitive with our group. 😆 Very fun place to be, but food should be better.

This place is a lot of fun with plenty of bowling lanes and some good video games. The atmosphere is good with fire pits and inside and outside dining. Appetizers are tasty but the dinners were soso. Fish sandwich was scrawny. Get something else

We were visiting my family for my nephews graduation. We were looking for something fun to do and they suggested we go to Wamesit Lanes. This place is NOT just bowling! It is so much more (Arcade, Golf Simulator Area). They offer both candlepin and big ball bowling (as I like to call it). We had not bowled candlepin for many years but oh, it was so much fun. They served us drinks from the bar, both soft drinks and liquor, and were great about bringing us water as well. After we went into the restaurant/lounge area (called The Firewater Tavern) where they had a bar and tables where you could sit and have a bite to eat. They had shuffle board tables there so we played that for a while. They had a trivia game going on as well. We had so much fun guessing all the possible answers - and it made it more interesting because we had family members ranging from 18 to 96 years old and everyone enjoyed themselves. The food was good too! We had supreme nachos (6 people could have eaten it), hamburgers, however, they had a full menu with pasta, steak tips, fish, wraps, pizza, subs and sandwiches. The food was good and plentiful. We had such a good time! I would recommend this place to everyone.

We had my daughters 5 year birthday party here! I can't say enough about Wamesit. From step one booking the party all the way through the end was easy and done to perfection. All the kids that attended and their parents were thoroughly impressed with the facility, the way the party was run, the food, and most of all Stephanie our party host! Perfect place. Perfect party!
