I didn't even know that this zoo existed. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed the variety of critters on display. Many of the animals were asleep due to the heat. Overall, this is a hidden gem.

Even though it was 93 degrees most of the animals were visible. Great zoo for little kids as it's just large/small enough to have the kids enthused and not exhausted at the end (parents too). Great Birds of Prey show (included in admission) - the birds fly just above your head and it's a very interesting presentation. Parking is free!... More

Cute little zoo and lots of shade which is perfect for a summer day. I have to say that we spent a lot of time watching a family of apes with its almost 1 year old baby. The baby was absolutely aggravating to the Dad and was relentless. The Dad kept shooing him off and wrestling with him. One of... More

We took our son to "Boo at the Zoo" and had the best time. They had all of these vendors who gave great snacks. He loved seeing all of the animals and doing all the activities.

Right up front: I don't like zoos. I do not like the concept of a caged animal, the obnoxious mothers pushing their child to the front of the observation area ahead of everyone else, the smells. You get the point. Thinking, however, zoos are not made for adults but for kids, and the Stone zoo is a kid's wonderland. The... More

Three grandchildren have been here with me many, many times. Always fun, always something new to see and old friends to visit. I'd rather we could see all the creatures in a natural setting, but that's not possible, so this is next best... Most of the animals have room to move, they all seem to be well cared for. Visit... This zoo is very small, and typically I would say it's not worth the trip out of Boston, BUT...for $150 you can spend 30 minutes inside the sloth enclosure visiting and feeding the sloths!!! My kids (ages 12 & 10) and I did this yesterday and it was worth every penny! The two sloths, Lunesta and Nero, are adorable and... More
