Very beautiful settings. We visited in September which meant most of the plants were not in bloom. (Probably more beautiful in Spring and Summer.) Children under 15 are free. Adults $15. Mosquitoes were out in force. We would have lingered longer if not for that.

I'm not really sure. What I did was get an annual membership at the Hancock Shaker Village which allowed free admission to the botanical gardens, the Rockwell Museum as well as the Shaker Village. I recommend you start there. They have all varieties of farm animals that your kids will probably love and then you can do some of the other stuff. I also recommend the Museum of the Berkshires if you get the family annual membership at Hancock Shaker Village....
