We had a brief stay in Stockbridge. Really enjoyed our visit to the Norman Rockwell museum. If you are in town, it is a must to see.

This is a beautiful little museum in the Berkshires. Rockwell's art is so interesting, and great to see close-up. The 12:30 tour today was excellent, and the docent knew many facts about the art and the sitters for the paintings- it is a small town!...More

All the Saturday Evening Post covers were on display during our visit, but I expected to see more paintings. The studio was closed, and the admission price ($ 18) was exorbitant for such a small museum.

You can't go wrong visiting this museum and gift shop. Norman Rockwell's artwork is fantastic as he catches the true human spirit in his paintings. They had a train set running in the lobby as part of their Christmas in Stockbridge celebration. It was awesome.
