We got stuck in Boston for an extra 3 days, and found off the beaten path things to do. Taza Chocolate Factory your and tasting was one of them. The tour was very informative, you get to taste all the different chocolate they make, and learn that you are supporting an American made product. This company also practices fair trade with the farmers who harvest the cacao trees to get the cocoa beans.

I teach Biotechnology in a local high school, I brought my 10th graders for a tour because it relates to our curriculum on fermentation and biomanufacturing. It was very interesting-we learned so much about chocolate. Even though most students didn't enjoy the dark chocolate, they all enjoyed the experience.

This was such a fun family activity. With the pandemic going on and variants tearing their ugly heads we're still hesitant to do a lot of potentially crowded activities but the virtual tasting tour had us all engaged. I was particularly impressed with their company ethics and feel really good supporting such a small business with a great product. Our presenter was Saravina and she was fun, knowledgeable, and just a great host. The tasting kit had plenty of chocolate to go around. There are 13 chocolates you taste so really the regular kit would be plenty for 8 people. There were 4 is us so of course we got the extra essentials! We have so much delicious chocolate left over and I'm going to hide my two favorites - the vanilla dark and the chili chocolate - and let the rest of my family fend for themselves! I guarantee there will be extras in our stockings this year. I'm excited to get some of the chocolate couverture and bake the best ever chocolate chip cookies. I had my doubts about how much fun a zoom class could really be but I'm so delighted I took a chance. We'll be talking about this for a long time to come.

The tour was very interesting. It was very educational. Also provided were free samples which made you to purchase more of the product, which was not a bad thing.
