A must see. Learn about the beach erosion and movement of historic homes to avoid them from falling into the sea. An amazing east side of the island experience.

Take a bike ride to the point to see the lighthouse. It's a marvel how it was moved, and a lovely trek past beautiful homes.

Need to rent a car - cheap from Youngs Bike Shop unless you like to bike several hours. Beautiful view and history there.

Beautiful lighthouse. The views from the bluff are beautiful. We climbed up in a small steppingstone to look out at the ocean, and were rewarded with seals floating along in the water. You can’t go up in the lighthouse, however.

We had a tour of the island and ended up here on the bluff, a bluff that is on the side of the island that has a somewhat precarious future, having already lost a good amount of beach. The lighthouse is beautiful and a beautiful...More
