This place prides themselves on being a "family business" when they clearly dont care about families. We bought tix ahead of time online, which is required and we found out tmrw evening is going to be dangerously cold, as of midnight 'day of' our snow tubing day, tmrw (fri) the forecast states 16°, with a wind NW of 15mph, making it feel like 1 degree. Of course this doesnt take into account speeding down the hill on the tube, making it even colder. I finally reached someone on the phone after many attempts (email, FB messenger, Twitter, phone calls) to ask to exchange our tickets for another day. There would be 3 small children with us. He responded that it looked like it would be 10 degrees, which is not cold enough to shut down so they would not be offering any returns or exchanges. As responsible adults, we dont feel like we can take young children out in these potential dangerous conditions and risk frost bite, etc. So our family will be losing $140. We weren't asking for our money back, just to exchange for another time. Very disappointed and will continue to share this very unfortunate story with everyone who has children.

I purchased two tickets for a monday, and found out Sunday the mountain was closed. They mention on their website they send out reschedule emails, but I never received one. Ski Ward seems to only be available for contact on the weekends, I was able to get in contact with the manager and get a refund the following Saturday, despite awful customer service. I was not treated as a customer but rather a nuisance. I had to argue with the manager for a while to actually get my refund. They continued to tell me they were understaffed and can’t always answer the phone. That doesn’t explain why they didn’t answer 5 mediums of communication in the course of a week, not to mention they could answer one of the 5 voicemails I left for them. (Left numerous voicemails, no responses, emailed all emails on website, called all extensions every day for a week, messaged on instagram and commented on Facebook page.) I find it absolutely unacceptable that a company can take your money, close down, forget to send your reschedule email, and then ignore so many forms of communication after they’ve already received my money.
If you run a business and it’s understaffed, that’s not my problem, but you take my money, don’t provide the service you promise, and then ignore me, and I will not put up with that. I will always recommend others avoid this company at all costs.

This ski resort makes snow while the slopes are open for skiing. It is blowing snow hitting kids faces while they are speeding down. My kids were so excited to go skiing and ended up disappointed. Really bad experience they had! Skiing is expensive and as a parent it is equally disappointing if their kids don’t enjoy after spending so much money. They were ready to go home within an hour.

great little hill to learn to ski on. 5 of my friends and I went to learn to ski. not crowded at all on the weekdays. I'll admit learning it was really tricky. but the lift operators at the carpet was a big help in explaining what I was doing wrong. after finally understanding it 2 more of my friend caught on also. I did get her name but have forgotten it. but i won't forget her duck hat that she was wearing. she really knows how to put herself in a beginner shoes when learning something new.

Waste of time & money for tubing. The wait was 30 min with 18 people in front of us for each run. They sold to many tickets for the limited lanes they had available. We were able to do more than double at a different place the day before and the day after so their excuse that it was a holiday weekend is just an excuse.

as long as you do not look for customer service, the ski ward is just fine. aggressively making snow and grooming, no complaint for that. however remember you can not store your bag(s) indoor but outdoor in the shelf (there was no shelf last year even), no matter the cold and rain. and the area has very very bad cell phone signal, however the business owner refused to share their wifi with you, but only for themselves. and the webcam has been down for couple of years, noone bothers to fix it. the daily update is not daily ( most time you do not know that update is for which day at all)

This place must be a scam. Purchased tickets online one week prior to the recent blizzard. When the forecasters were predicting the storm we tried reaching them by telephone, email and their website nobody will return our calls or messages. We have no idea how to get a credit or a refund. The absolute worst customer service experience ever.

Came for a special event today. They charged almost double the amount advertised. Were rude about it and said we could just leave and pre-reserve for a later date for the advertised amount. Of course, when you arrive there with family you can't just return home again. Better go somewhere else.

Enrolled my son in the ski starters (8-14 yrs) program for 3 days 1 hour each lesson. The total cost of rental + lesson was $285. At the end of 3 lessons, he did not even go on the carpet lift. All he did was go down about 20 m on a gentle slope following the instructor who was on foot. He had to wait for his turn since there were other children too. On the first day, he went 3 times, on the second day he went only 2 times and on the third day 5 times. At the end, they decided that he has not learnt how to stop so he cannot go on the carpet lift !!! When I complained they stated that they followed protocol. They suggested that I should get more lessons !!!

My kids have been taking lessons here for two years now. At first I thought it was a decent place for kids to learn but this second year, where I had two kids taking lessons, I realized what a complete rip off and nightmare this place is. They cut an entire lesson (from 6 to five) and raised the prices by 20%, the ski instructors are untrained 12-year-olds who vary in ability and responsibility, and the lodge is a complete dump where people are tripping over each other and they won’t even give you a cup of water after you pay $200 for your kids ski lessons on a weekly basis. Stay away.
