My first time though very close by. Went before spring sunset and it was lovely. Very large number of interesting trees and plants to observe. Nice and spread out with great directions. Will definatly be back. Seemed well taken care of!!

Farandnear Reservation is maintained by the Trustees of Reservations. There is ample parking and clean restrooms. The reception area includes attractive gardens. The trails are well maintained and easy. Most of the trails are through woodlands, but there are several small ponds to add interest. The site is very quiet. No admission charge. Insect repellent is recommended. Overall a very rewarding property. Definitely worth a detour.

I found it a bit tough to keep it straight which way I was going on the trails (even with a map), some reroutes and unmarked trails made it a little challenging. A nice spot, with interesting mix of smooth trail and boardwalks. Make sure you shut the gates to keep deer out!

Beautifully maintained conservation area. Love the conifers in the arboretum and the visitors area. Would be a perfect spot for a wedding. Also great hiking! Not crowded at all on a Friday afternoon.

This is a fantastic place for all ages! An enclosed, fenced in arboretum, it's home to many different trees. With trails that encircle the area, it's a great place to walk. Trails are all fairly easy and manageable.
