I used to ride the trails, alone (oops... not very smart to go horseback riding alone) or with my husband and daughter. After our horses departed to greener pastures, it took me a while to go walking there instead but now I do and I...More

Nice place to stretch your legs over varied terrain. We parked off of Forest street and I ran the red and blue trail. There was a mix of wider trail and narrow. The two overlooks were nice and featured a view of the Charles River.

This is a wonderful area full of many different habitats and a variety of trails. Well marked and maintained. Limited parking keeps the crowds small but beware that you might not find a spot for your car.

Beautiful place for a quiet walk and the hike to the overlook is not as challenging as I thought after reading the description on line. Very limited parking is available but that ensured not encountering crowds.

Lovely spot for hiking near the city. Fantastic views of the Charles River, woods and river flats. Lots of different ways to approach the King Phil Overlook - avoid the trails used by the horses. The horses cause a lot of erosion and the trails...More

Great place to stroll with smaller folk. With the two major lookout points over the Charles River, its not just a hike - but you have a destination to motivate anyone. Hardly ever see too many people which is nice, its a beautiful spot that...More
