Being friendly goes a long way. I wish they had shown some. While on a bike ride with some friends we stopped at McCusker's Market for food and rehydration. When my friend David asked if he could fill up his water bottle he was told simply "NO" Not I'm sorry, but we don't have water for the public. Just "NO". We spend t $23 there on some very tasty brownies, oat bars and coffee and we ate/ drank it by our bikes out front. David went to the ice cream shop to get water. They were very nice about it, while an employee of McCusker's came out and said we can't stand in front of the store, that we are blocking people from entering. We had just spent $23 in there 10 minutes earlier, we were being shooed away now. It just seemed ungracious. I would have hoped for better.

This shop was once owned by my husband's cousin. He wanted to stop by and check it out as he had not seen it in a number of years. Well, you can't go home again!! Rick was disappointed and I found it uninspiring to say the least. It is a co-op and I expected an array of local products. In fact, they advertised the grand re-opening to occur on the weekend after we were in town, but if I hadn't seen the sign I would have thought they were getting ready to close the doors. We had stopped in Deerfield and one of the cashiers at a local shop raved about the carrot cake, though she said that she had not been there recently. Well, there was not a crumb of carrot cake to be had/seen. Well, saw the building and don't plan a return

They have a wide variety of goods, and this is part of the co-op type of shop so you can find all sorts of things like that. They have a lot of already made grab and go stuff which is great. You can get some food then go eat it near the pot holes, etc. They have a huge sitting area which I was surprised at given its size. Bit on the pricey side but the food was cheaper than going out to eat.

Melt in your mouth goodness. Many local cheese and veggie choices. A quaint little market and fun place to visit.

A usual co-op type place but, sadly, not offering specialty sandwiches anymore. Some bulk grains and herbs available but it is a small store. This was so much better when Mike McCusker owned it. Much better to try the Old Creamery Co-Op in Cummington. They have everything and lots of home made foods!
