Captain Don was amazing! We took the kids out for a fishing trip, Captain Don knew just where to bring us, the kids were pulling in the fish left and right. He taught them how to bait and collect lobsters out of a trap. he even let one of the kids take the wheel of the boat, this is an experience our little guys won't soon forget. We had twin 9 year old's and a 20 something on the trip, even he had fun, fished the whole time.

The kids tour is 3 hours perfect amount of time, I loved just being out in the Ocean, the Situate landscape is beautiful from the ocean.

The boys really got a kick out of Captain Don he is great with kids!

My husband, son & I were south of Boston over the Fourth of July weekend. After days of sightseeing, we wanted to enjoy the water but without the crowds. I contacted Labrador Tours to see if they had a slot and was able to book a private tour. We had a great and relaxing time seeing Cohasset & Scituate. Linda & Don gave us the history of the area and the sights of Lighthouses, lobsters & birds was wonderful. Next time we will be sure to hire Labrador for a fishing tour- which is their speciality. The afternoon out with Linda & Don was a highlight of our vacation.

Captain Don is by far the best all round Captain in Scituate. He has consistantly put me on Giant Blue Fin each trip I book with him. He also has no problem loading up on Stripers and Cod. Don is well connected in the local fishing community and stays on top of the action. Don't hesitate in calling Labrador Charters to take care or your fishing needs.

The guys on this boat were very nice, but the fact that we didn't catch a thing was exteremely dissapointing. The boat was pretty, but I would not reccomend this to anyone looking for a good fishing charter

If you are looking for something to do in Scituate MA, you'd be crazy not to go out with Captain Don. Both he and his deck hand went above and beyond to make the 6 of us experience a real life shark week!!!

I've personally done charters in both the Caribbean and Southern Florida, and those don't come close to what we experienced last Friday.

Thanks again Don, A+++++++

Was in Scituate visiting my sister and had booked a fishing trip months in advance; unfortunately, the trip had to be canceled due to rough weather. We were pretty disappointed, but what can you do. Since it was a last minute cancellation, we didn't think it would be possible to book another trip as the charter that we had booked with couldn't accommodate us for the next day (our last full day in Scituate). Luckily, we went down to the dock to walk around the heritage festival and a member of our group started talking to Captain Don on the Labrador, long story short, he was able to take us on a "combo" fishing trip the next day and saved a pretty big part of our plans for our trip to the area. It was a great trip too, it's an early start to be sure, on the water at 5 am, but did get to see a great sunrise on the way to the first fishing spot. Within an hour or so we were fishing and catching a variety of fish and saw a few whales surfacing, pretty cool experience. After fishing in that spot for a while, the dog fish were being a nuisance, so the Captain Don and first mate Steve decided we should move to another spot. After another hour or so we were fishing again, and were catching, literally, fish after fish after fish. I believe we caught some pollock, cusk, haddock, a ton of cod (very surprised to find out that we couldn't keep any cod considering the area), a wolf fish (cool looking fish, ugly as heck), and limitless pain in the rump dogfish. It was also a lot of work! But a lot of fun too! Captain Don and First Mate Steve were very helpful and informative about the area and types of fish and kept us with lines in the water. While we were bottom fishing, Steve had the shark lines out and maintaining the chum slick in the hopes that we would reel in a shark and we were not disappointed. After a while fishing, one of the lines was taking a hit, we got the other lines in, Steve hooked the monster and Captain Don took off in the boat, once it was assured it was hooked, we started the long process of reeling it in. Finally, after about 30 to 40 minutes, we could see it coming to the top of the water. It was a porbeagle shark, looked pretty big to me, and it was pretty exciting. Overall, it was a great fishing trip, and it was a long trip, over 10 hours, but well worth it. Captain Don and First Mate Steve were very knowledgeable and obviously know their stuff when it comes to fishing in the area, we feel we were pretty lucky to get to go fishing with these guys. The boat had enough room to comfortably fit the 5 people in our group plus the crew. We had a great meal that night with the fresh fish we caught and had enough to bring back to Texas with us.

Captain Don and his first mate Phil of the Labrador fishing charters were very pleasant. We chartered his boat yesterday 06/30/17 we did not get any fish. Captain Don did try trolling for a while there was a small craft advisory. The water was just too rough for fishing, and to rough to enjoy the boat ride. The entire trip you had to hold on to something to keep from bouncing around the boat. Captain Don probably should have rescheduled the trip. I believe we would have had a great time fishing with Captain Don and his first mate Phil if it was a calm day. Captain Don and first mate Phil were very knowledgeable and I don't think they enjoyed the fishing trip either. They were making the best out of a bad situation. Thank you Captain Don and first mate Phil for trying to give us a good fishing experience.

They certainly tried to get us in a position to catch fish but they werent biting. Oh well, was worth the trip anyway. Very professional and safety was their main concern. Maybe next time we will catch something. Saw a shark!!!!

Captain Don Campbell is a wonderful person and a great skipper. He will find the fish and entertain your entire party. Captain Don took my daughter and me out to catch a 200 pound Tuna fish. We had a great trip and a lot of fun. Other company has taken small children out to catch cod, flounder and lobsters. Great experience!
