We have finally made it back to the park! We had a great experience about 6 years ago and looked forward to returning. The 2nd time proved just as fun! Our 1st experience was as a family with 2 teenage girls and the 2nd was just me and my husband. I highly recommend this park as an outing for couples, friends, families or solo. It's a great way to be outside in nature, do something physical, different, and sometimes daring! The courses progress by levels so you can stay with the same course or progress when you feel confident. The staff are always available, helpful and kind. The double carabiner safety locks ensure safety. For someone who freezes up on heights (me!) I never once felt unsafe. It's a great way to both be in your comfort zone and be challenged all at the same time. I highly recommend this park!

This is a highlight of our visits to the Cape. We are always looking for things to do outdoors when we visit and this is always at the top of the list for adults and children. There are appropriate courses for all levels. Two hours of climbing is the perfect amount. Parents and kids are knackered by the end of the session. You do a good level of fitness to really enjoy it. I love this place.

My 10 and 12 year old kids found this fun and challenging, as did I! The staff was great - very professional and nice. We did a yellow, a green and blue course in about 2.5 hours. Luckily, it was not a hot day because we were sweating (nerves maybe?). Glad I wore good tennis shoes, because I needed them to balance. My kids are both gymnasts and very athletic, and they struggled at times with certain elements. I can't imagine taking kids much younger than 10. I'd worry about them forgetting to clip in or just being a little too immature. My kids are too young (thank goodness!), but I can't imagine doing the black course - fun to watch, but too scary for me! Seems like there is something for almost everyone though!
Would love to real bathrooms though! No place to wash hands after and only port-a-potties - yuck!
Will definitely be back at some point.

Town Zoning Board found by state court to have illegally permitted this installation as it doesn't contribute to the educational charter of Heritage Museum an Gardens.

We arrived right at opening at 9:00. After waiting in an extremely slow moving line in the scorching hot sun for 50 minutes, a staff person came out to tell all the people waiting that only 14 more people would be getting in and the rest would be wait listed for hours. It is ridiculous that we were not told this 45 minutes prior so we did not waste our time. Do not go without a reservation no matter what the website says!

We went here mid week so my 15 year old daughter and friend could try this out. We arrived at 9:10am. On the website, they make it seem like you do not need a reservation and that you may only need to wait a little while for harnesses. Well we arrived 10 minutes after opening and waited in line for 45 minutes (maybe 8-10 families in front of us) and were then told they were already out of harnesses. In that time, the line did not move...but a bus of camp kids came in and were suited up right away.
We filled out the online waiver...which is done on 4 IPads they have set up in a Yurt. There was a wait to do this as well, while there were three staff members joking around behind the counter with about five unused IPADS in front of them. Instead of moving things along, they were just hanging out.
We were then told our wait was 150 minutes...so we left and waited for the phone call to return. After 190 minutes we went back and were then told we had to wait a few more minutes for a harness...there were only two people in our group. Why did you call us back if the harnesses weren't ready?
Then the girls had to wait again for their safety briefing to begin...another 20 minutes wasted while they waited for more people to put harnesses on. they could have done the entire briefing in that time.
The lady doing the briefing was like a marine drill sargeant...barking orders at people. When my daughter couldn't get her carabiner locks to open and engage instead of coming over to help her she yells out...what is your problem? I was annoyed and told her maybe she should check them. Turns out the harness wasn't working and they sent us back to get another one. So the "problem" was with the equipment, not my daughter.
Once they began the course, they had a great time. But be forewarned...once you start you have to finish...there is no way to climb down or change your mind.
While the ropes and zip line parts were fun, the customer service and staff made the experience one we probably won't do again or recommend to friends.
I understand it is new and kinks need to be worked out. But the customer service and their system leaves a lot to be desired.

Got there 2 hrs after they opened and the wait list was so long they weren't sure we would ever get in that day. We walked around heritage gardens all day and never got in. They need to set up a reservation system during the summer months.

To do the positive first -- if you like outdoor fun, like climbing, like zip lines, whatever -- it is fun! I hesitate to say "it is well worth it" because it is costly and whether or not it is "worth it" might depend how much climbing time you actually get. But certainly my daughter LOVED the Adventure Park and can't wait to go back. The park only opened a few months ago so the equipment is still newish and seems safe and well-maintained. The setting is very nice and the walking paths underneath the courses (for those who aren't climbing) are very nice, shaded, and offer great photo ops.
But there are some negatives. I am a planner, so I went online to make reservations only to read that they offer very few reservations, and "most of their spots are reserved for walk-ins." So, the first time we went, we went around noon as they listed the last climb time as 2pm. We were informed that there was a line of 200 people at 8:30 that morning and that all the day's climbing spots were sold out. They say they only allow 110 people out on the course at one time (although I'm not sure who monitored that as there seems to be a shortage of staff). So, OK. Second try -- we went back at 8:30 another morning as we had been instructed to do. We were 24th and 25th in line at that point -- meaning we should be out climbing in the first 110 they allow out. Which we were -- AFTER a lengthy wait. The registration office didn't open until about 8:50, and then they took two groups at a time inside to sign waivers and pay. So the line to wait just to sign waivers and pay was more than triple what it was when we'd started by 9:15 and yet at that point no one was actually on the course! There HAS to be a better way to get the waivers signed. Hand them out in line!! Or, better yet, move to a FULLY RESERVATION-BASED SYSTEM, sign the waivers online, and only offer walk-in spots if there are spots available. This would pretty much eliminate the first 50-60 minutes of our waiting, and the people behind us, probably waited closer to 2 hours. People would show up when their time slot is, they would already have signed waivers AND paid online, and all they would need to do is send them to orientation! I cannot think of why on earth this is not how they operate. It seems particularly cruel to make people stand around in line for hours on a nice summer day on Cape Cod.
Next, the orientation "guides", the two that I saw anyway, were not super customer-friendly. Guess it's not a big deal, but the point was the employees didn't seem all that happy.
Once we got to the climbing, I have to again complain about the waiting. They mark your ticket with time 2 hours past when you complete the orientation, so you have "2 hours of climbing time". This would be fine if you didn't then head to the first course and have to wait 10-15 minutes (or more) to actually start your first element. Once you are on the course, there is less waiting but obviously some people move faster than others. My 10-year-old took a few elements to get the hang of clipping and unclipping the carabiners and locking them and unlocking them, but then she moved along at a good clip. Others, especially the younger kids (7-8 year olds), really never got the hang of it and had to wait on each element for their parent to do it. It's fine, there's no "rush" when you're enjoying the trees and nature, but you do FEEL a bit rushed knowing you only have 2 hours. So I will just state that in 2 hours, my daughter and my husband only managed to do the yellow (beginner) course, and then one green (intermediate) course. She desperately wanted to do the other green course but with 15 minutes remaining in our climb time, there was another several-deep line to get on that course so instead they had to repeat the yellow course just to get another climb in.
So, in summary: great fun, my kid LOVED it, well-maintained, poor reservation system, lengthy wait times on obstacles prevent you from doing all courses.

Fun for all ages - we had a group of a not easily impressed 14 year old athlete, and three 40+ active adults who have traveled the world and done many outdoor activities. All of us were surprised at how fun the courses were, how the safety instructions were enough but not overkill or too long and how encouraging and helpful the staff were. Be prepared to wait at certain bottlenecks (start of the course and ladders) but I can't say anything negative about the entire experience, very well done!

i called the adventure park to make a reservation. Their answering machine stated that reservations were not necessary. I then spoke to someone who confirmed that in the afternoon they did not take reservations and they were not necessary. After driving for 45 minutes we were told we could not get on the course. There only advice was to make a morning reservation when one was available or come at 8:00, wait for the course to open, and then Take a wait list time in the afternoon. Essentially wasting the entire day. This process is not acceptable.

Hola me gustaría saber si hoy octubre 18 se encuentran abiertos ?

Their website said they are closing (closed) and it seems like it's due to a legal action. Can anyone please confirm?
Written September 26, 2018
They are closed. It was a legal action but not for any accidents or negligence. They had zoning complaints from neighbors and the court upheld zoning bylaws that were violated.

hello. I'll be on the cape next week for April vacation and I'm out of ideas on what to do. would this place be appropriate for an 11, 9, and 5 year old? Thanks
Written April 10, 2017
Sorry I didn't see the question earlier. Yes, you can bring your own food.

Hello. We have a child and I was wondering if taking turns doing the obstacles and zip linning would be a problem?
Written May 29, 2016
How old is the child? Younger than allowed? If you aren't climbing you can walk below the climbers. I"m sure as long as you pay for two, then you can switch climbing as you want. The course isn't too spread out.
