This beach is very low key and not crowded at all. That could be due to the fact that it is REALLY rocky. If that doesn't bother you then it's wonderful for a relaxed beach visit. Two of the days we were there it was half sand half rocks, the other day the tide brought in a ton of rocks... More

The location was not very crowded, nice stretch of beach to walk. Limited food/drink so bring a picnic lunch.

It's neat going across the boardwalk to this beach but the beach is not nice at all. It is all rocks and the water is ice cold. This is one of the worst beaches we have ever seen. We stayed 5 minutes and left.

Make sure to wear good shoes! Overall pretty beach with nice sea shells and pretty rocks. Good for finding pretty stuff on the beach.

Beach is gorgeous. Be aware that the shore is rocky to high tide mark. So wear sandals or water shoes, or brave it like we did. The water is gentle, clear, and perfect for swimming and floating around. The snack bar is great as well, service was awesome. A very beautiful way to spend the day.

We spent a very hot afternoon on this beach. Rocky sand. Nice water. Waves are not to intense but then again, you can't do much in the water. There are facilities for restrooms and cleaning up. Parking is 20$ but the facilities make up for the price. I would not spend a whole day but enjoyed a couple of hours.

Sandy neck - it is what the name suggest, you will not only get sand in your neck but also in your eyes, mouth and face. Just a non pleasant experience due to wind and annoying horse flies that kept attacking us. There are way better beaches on the cape.

Such a nice place. Campers, trailers, 4x4 allow. Super beautiful place. The only down part is the sand in most part has too many rocks,so be prepared to take some shoes. Kids have so much fun. End of day is super w bone fire and bring some long sleeve to be comfortable at night.

We stayed at that beach maximum 30 minutes ... We paid the 20 dollars to get to the beach and we quickly realised why there was only 5 cars in the parking lot ... This beach is infected by black flies ...

One of our goals was to visit as many beaches on the Cape as we could fit into our visit and the first was Sandy Neck Beach, The beach is, as are all the beaches we saw on the Cape, beautiful, sandy, long and WINDY. We saw many people come, set up their chairs with their backs to the wind,... More
