clean, convenient beach with free parking
Oct 2020
Thursday October first, what better day to sit on the beach. Clean and well maintained, so glad to spend time here, watching the boats, little kids and gentle waves. Water was only 60 degrees so only my toes went in.

Gorgeous Beach! 🌊
Jul 2020 • Couples
Absolutely Beautiful Beach ..Parking was expensive $25 but expected. Bathrooms were very clean and I bought myself a lobster roll from the little food stand and it was surprisingly well worth the $20 I paid! Big chunks of lobster with some delicious crispy fries and good Cole slaw 👌🏽 every one kept their social distance and wore mask entering and exiting the beach.

Wonderful location to visit
Nov 2019
Also every time we are on the Cape, Sandy Neck Beach is a stopping point. It is clean and very beautiful. During the off season, the parking is free and you can walk the trails and the beach with limited crowds. We also have found a group leaves friendship rocks along one of the trails to the beach, we general take one during each of our visit..special thanks to these folks who paint the rocks. Make sure you have you camera. If you go during mid winter, dress as warm as you can, however we visited on the 11th of November and it was such a nice day, we went barefoot.

Pretty
Sep 2019
Our tour group stopped just for a short walk out mid week in September. Not very busy. Rocks abound but they make it pretty.

Stunning Beach and Dunes
Sep 2019
We love going out to the Cape after tourist season. This beach is beautiful. We love strolling the beach looking for seashells, sea glass and rocks. On the days we went we were the only ones out there. So peaceful and serene walking along listening to the waves crashing and having no one on the beach but the two of us. And the dunes are stunning to look at. And there is no charge after the season is over to enjoy this beautiful place.

Interesting beach experience
Aug 2019
So we largely came to this beach due to its being dog friendly year-round. Dogs are NOT allowed in the lifeguard areas during the summer months, but are allowed on the vehicle beach during the whole year. To get there, you park at the guard house and can walk about half a mile down the vehicle access road to the beach (you enter the beach and turn right - there will be signs immediately to your left designating the "no dog" portion of the beach). Goes for miles from the look of it. You can alternatively walk down the access trail, which is about a mile walk. It turns into loose sand pretty quickly and is a pretty rough and hot hike down to the beach, and then leaves you about half a mile up from where the access road brings you - though that's a much more stable walk.

Overall the beach was super busy, with cars, campers, and trailers every few feet along the water. The beach itself was quite rocky towards the water, and pretty uncomfortable to actually walk into the ocean. A fun time, for sure, but you need to know what you're getting into.

Full of rocks and bugs that bite
Aug 2019 • Friends
We got here at 3:30 pm on a Monday. Before paying the 20$ parking fee, I asked the attendant if we can walk and have a look before we paid for parking. She said it wasn’t possible. That is somewhat understandable. I asked if the beach had rocks. She said “just a little bit when you get in”. We get to the beach and it was full of little rocks, both in the water when you get in and all over the sand making it very uncomfortable to walk. In addition, we got bitten by flies during the 45 minutes that we were there before 5 pm (first time for me at a salt water beach). To top it off, the beach rules say no loud music and the lifeguard is sitting there with her radio playing and looking up at the sky. We left and drove 30 minutes to another beach. It was a waste of tome and money.
