A great place to take the kids. All main paths throughout the grounds are paved and are stroller friendly. The Hidden Hollow play area is amazing! Don't miss the antique cars or a ride on the Carousel. My favorite time to visit is when the rhododendrons are in bloom.

My family was there for the full park experience. The gardens, car and costumes exhibits and the Adventure Park. The cars were awesome, so old, and the condition of them was amazing. There was also a lot of information on the history of them.

Stunningly beautiful. We were there for the rhododendruns and azaleas. Just gorgeous! Car exhibit was loads of fun, too....especially some of the old commercials.

Take your time to enjoy the entire property - it is beautiful / especially the rhododendrons! The antique auto museum is very impressive and the carousel is also impressive. Be ready to walk!

We brought our daughter and her two boys here. The boys 8 and 6 were thrilled. They absolutely loved running the paths, seeing giant bugs, and surprisingly to me the fabulous car collection. The eight year old was facinated by the size and shapes of the many classic vehicles. He wanted to take a ride in the convertible roadsters. I... More

In addition to the beautiful grounds, heritage offers a wonderful automotive museum, a children's playground, an antique merry go round, and for the second time this year zip-lining. There's enough here for a whole day, but the most enjoyable part is just strolling the grounds and enjoying the scenery. If you're focused primarily on the horticulture, it might be worthwhile... We have been coming here for years and now we are bringing our grandchildren. The love the old cars. The walk through the gardens is a treat every time. Makes me feel like a kid again! A lot of hands on for the children to learn and explore. Now there is even a n adventure park for older teens who... More

We retired to the Cape 2 years ago and we love the Heritage Museum. We went to the museum on a cold night two weeks before Christmas, it was beautiful with all the Christmas lights, the snack bar which is outside had fire pits lit with marshmellows for all, serving spiced warm wine for adults, perfect for a winters evening.... The museum alone is worth the trip. Lot's of antique cars! Once you've seen the museum, the gardens are a wonderful way to see the local fauna and are put together in a pleasing walk around sort of way! In the summer it is a great way to cool off in the shade, in the Autumn it's a great show... More
