This place is so well laid out for a leisurely walk (fairly flat paths) for strollers/wheelchairs and benches to rest and/or to be shuttled around. We went during the week, before the gardens were in bloom, but how nice to just meander around and enjoy nature. The antique car display was awesome, well displayed with lots of information on each... More

Recently visited the Heritage Museum, I loved viewing the dresses worn by movie actresses and actors. There was a wonderful tour guide who explained the details of making the dresses, upon our request. Also, the antique automobiles were incredible, and again, a guide provided individual information to us about the backgroud. Wonderful experience

It is always a pleasure to return to the beautiful manicured gardens and lovely museum spaces of Heritage Museum and Gardens. From the moment you enter the grounds there is a sense of peace and tranquility. On our latest visit we found everything green and lush with the promise of rhododendrons in full bloom in just a week or so.Gardeners... More

Loved the three museums at this 100 acre property. It would be awesome when things are in full bloom but we were too early for that. A wonderful antique car museum that had the first Presidential car (a Whiting steam car) and a car owned by Gary Cooper! The second exhibit was costumes worn by actors and actresses in movies... Trams were helpful for getting around for our 84 senior citizens. The classic car collection alone was worth the visit. Spectacularly displayed museum. Carousel was a plus! Gardens are awesome.

I like it but because if the weather I think they should be open at least til 7 not enough time to go to the climbing park and then the museum because it was my first time now I know to go there first

The gardens had no glorious color display since the plants were slowed by cold weather. The overall view and layout made an enjoyable walk. There are trams if you wish or when tired. Other highlights for all seasons are: the Carrousel and the Antique car collection. Especially, the “White Company” Presidential steam car. The video told the story of President... More

Starting right from the gift shop, beautiful and reasonably priced gifts. A very special, great carousel ride, the horse hair and horse shoes are real! So many little rooms filled with art. A very creative work area for kids(and some adults). The costume collection is fantastic. The car collection a must see. Very well maintained grounds. The salad was very good,... More

Visited here after buying a groupon. The grounds are lovely but there are only a few things in bloom (no fault of the park). My 10 month old enjoyed the children's area win many musical instruments. There were several schools visiting as well. Stroller friendly everywhere. My favorite part was seeing the car museum! Probably a great trip for families... More

My daughter and I brought 2 girls ages 3 and 6 here on a Sunday afternoon. We walked the entire location and it was not too much for the kids. They loved finding the "clues" that asked questions and allowed the kids to open a door to see the answer. The treehouse area had lots for kids, from music to... More
