Beautiful grounds

Us old folks even rode the carousel! Lovely gardens. Antique cars were amazing. It would make a lovely venue for a cocktail party or wedding.

Our family split the visit at Heritage Museums and Gardens. The kids did the tight rope/zip line course and the parents visited the Museum and Gardens. The tight rope/zip line was a great new experience. Not just for little kids, this course has challenges for the young and the middle aged. The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. Fun times... First we stopped by the antique car collection. Beautiful automobiles from the past. You can get up close to look at everything. The personnel there were able to give us extra bits on information on the cars. My favorite was the President Taft steam powered car. What a wonder! Never knew a car was powered by steam. After the cars... More

The gardens are nice with to walk through. It is pretty. There are places to sit, a waterfall to visit, and benches scattered around. We went to see the flowers and the movie costume exhibit which was great. We did not do the car exhibit because we were short on time and it was broiling hot. The gift shop has... More

The vintage prestine car collection is second to none. Throw in the Hollywood costume collection and beautiful garden surroundings and what you get is a great visit for adults and children alike.

What an amazing collection of cars! Only wish we could drive them. Well kept, in splendid condition. Very informative collection. After you leave this exhibit wander the grounds. Beautifully kept 100 acres. Excellent exhibit on clothes worn in different films. A great carousel to ride as well. Do watch out for poison ivy!

The exhibit featured gowns, pirate-wear, and suits from various movies. Seeing them up close allowed me to appreciate all the details that went into them. Also, it also showed how large the actors were. The guides were fantastic! They had lots of information about the historic background on the outfits.

We took our teenage kids and our elderly parents for the day. kids and adults loved the automobile museum. kids really liked the special exhibit on movie costumes. Lovely gardens, great carousel ride and nice cafe. We liked it so much we became members of the museum and planning for another visit next year.

The gardens were lovely and made a great setting for the car museum and the building containing the Hollywood costumes. first we grabbed a sandwich at the outdoor cafe,we did feel that the selection could have been better but the food was adequate. All the staff around the grounds and exhibitions were brilliant ,very informative, friendly and helpful. The costume display... More
