When we visited, we went to the Automobile Gallery, the CUT! costume exhibit, and strolled the gardens. The cars were so impressive and well-maintained; most were from 1900-1940, but there were a couple from the 50s/60s. The CUT! exhibit was very cool - I hadn't seen most of the movies the costumes were from, but they were still very impressive.... More

Beautiful garden located in the charming little village of Sandwich. Amazing varieties of hydrangeas and lilies. Interesting museum featuring antiques cars carefully (and lovingly!) maintained, as well as a gorgeous carousel the young...and not so young can enjoy. Friendly staff. Great gift selection in the museum shop. We'll be back.

Visiting my daughter, daughter-in-law and two delightful grandsons in southern Massachusetts near Cape Cod, we decided one day to go to this museum and gardens. Although it was a very warm and humid day, there was certainly enough shade (and a few air conditioned buildings) to cool us when we wanted respite. The gardens were spectacular, and when they were... More

These gardens are small enough to tour comfortably and interspersed with exhibits that are interesting and informative.

Heritage is a gem in Sandwich. We always bring our friends here, either to visit the art collections (something for everyone), the antique cars (awesome collection) or the amazing gardens. I never tire of visiting and my friends always say it was one of their favorite places!

I absolutely loved this place from the time we got there. It is basically 3 museums set in THE MOST BEAUTIFUL GARDENS. They are stunning and perfectly kept with attention to every detail. The motor museum is simply outstanding and I'm not even into cars but I was blown away. Impeccable. After a walk through beautiful gardens and a tea... More

We went in for only 30 minutes. I wish we had more time. The volunteer who greeted us at the entrance really loved the museum. It is wonderful to come across someone who enjoys their job and interacting with tourists.

This place was quite unexpected. We saw antique cars, Hollywood costumes from some great period dramas, a display of Americana and an old carousel. That was just the indoor displays. The outdoor gardens were spectacular. Obviously well tended, but not unnatural or overdone, just well tended. The setting was gorgeous. There was a parade field, an amphitheater (suitable for weddings),... More

We visited on a rainy day and so this limited how much we were able to see. But we did get a chance to join a tour of the Rhododendrons. This was well presented and left me wishing we could see more. We then went to the carousel, which was indoors, and enjoyed a ride. There was also a small... More
