We hadn't been to Salisbury Beach in 30 years, and the day we traveled was a chilly October day, but the beach is still pristine and pretty. The boardwalk was mostly empty because it is off-season, but a number of dining outlets, entertainment and shops were still there. A good part of it now has been built into condos or... More

Great for children of all ages! Lifeguards on duty during summer months. Now much slower pace to stroll along sand. Wonderful to watch waves after storms. Plenty of parking found at the state reservation and free during midweek. Fees still in effect on weekends.

We went to Salisbury beach to see fireworks. The parking lots were expensive and the boardwalk seems to much like what we were trying to get away from so we drive several blocks away and parked along the street near a public access. This area was perfect. We took a long walk down the beach and spent a few hours... More

Salisbury beach is big beach which I was positively surprised. The sand is perfect and water is good once you get in. It's busy beach but less crowded then Hampton Beach. I would definitely recommend to visit this beach.

My husband and I stayed at a campground nearby and we took a walk on the beach in the morning. Its a cute beach , a little dirty. They had a small boardwalk didn't seem like much going on.

This beach is less crowded unlike Cape Cod. Great place if you want to avoid the Cape crowd. The water is warm, and the beach is clean. the view is great. Not many hotels around this place with beach view. Parking can be little painful, first drop off your beach chairs and coolers in the sidewalk area close to the... More

A very nice beach. Plenty of parking, clean, waves, life guards. Just a very nice place to cool off and enjoy the sounds.

Salisbury Beach is a beautiful natural resource in Massachusetts. Long and beautifully sandy...soft sand. Easy access...Lots of parking. Several spots up off the beach to get refreshments, lunch, or dinner. Really an untapped special beach...can get crowded, but not like Hampton. Salisbury is as large, but more free and quiet. Lots of beachcombers and beach goers...a very happy place to... More

Heard lots of negative reviews but found this campground to be well maintained and very "friendly". Huge lots but very open . True beach camping. My dogs loved going in the water and we saw lots of dogs there. I will be going back.

The beach is not well maintained and could use a good grading to pick up the trash. I have a pet peeve and it is cigarette butts lying all over. NASTY! Please grade your beach and it would be soooo much cleaner.
