It's like walking into a picture postcard. This place is quaint and filled with restaurants, art shoes, and tacky tourist traps. Perfect for ambling and taking in the New England summer. Grab some lobster, ice cream, candy, clams. This is a place for the whole family.

You should visit. Cute town with a cute name. It's basically an alley to the water with an eclectic mix of shops lining it. From fudge to ice cream, and from tee shirt shops to boutiques, jewelry stores, art shops and antique stores, there's plenty to see and buy. Walk out to the point and see a gorgeous view of... More

Touristy. Very cute. It was quiet at night... An amazing place to watch the sunset and then look for shooting stars out on the rocks.

This little area of Rockport was awesome! The stores are all very cute and unique. The architecture was neat to look at as were all the other people visiting. It'd be very easy to spend 2-3 hours here.

What a quaint area of Rockport complete with artist studios, homemade ice cream and candy shops, gift stores and restaurants. Surrounded by beautiful vistas and a sunset that can't be beat. Quintessential New England panoramas.

We had fun strolling through Bearskin Neck, a collection of old houses that are now a mix of restaurants, touristy gift shops, fine art galleries, and private residences. We didn't go in anything, and the walk took about half an hour. Expect to spend more time if you browse through the shops or get something to eat.

A very pleasant little street full of small shops, that takes you to the top where there are some great views. Nice just to stroll up and down, we liked it especially early in the morning before many people had got up and we could also see the fishing boats leaving harbour to go on their fishing expeditions. So peaceful... More

I've grown up in this area my whole life, and I still enjoy walks around Bearskin Neck. Parking is tough, so you're better off taking public transportation, or walking. I'll walk, grab a bite to eat down there, and then walk home. As a kid we used to visit the Country store to get old school Candy, and they still... More

I have visited here a few times, and the small shops are fun to browse. Nothing is open until around 10am except the coffee shops and breakfast restaurants, so if you are an early riser, go walk on the beach first. Parking is all meters, so bring change. Views are beautiful, and the galleries are worth your time.
