The well known landmark for Rockport, photographed and painted so many many times. I bought a lovely photographic print from Brendan Pike who has a small shop in the town just to take home with me to remind me of the wonderful time we had in Rockport.

This is one of the most pictured and painted barns in the States. The place is cute and beautiful, though its very touristic and a bit over-rated. The visit is nice if you're around Rockport. I would also recommend to get to Rockport through the coast drive from Gloucester.

Love having photos taken with family and friends, so picturesque!! Sometimes, you'll catch a lobster boat going by and coming to the docks to show his catch. Great History as well.

Rockport harbor is a classic New England village harbor. With working lobster boats moored and a good selection of sail boats and power boats the Motif is the background for great photography. A walk out to it provides you with a great spot to take pictures both east and west capturing a different perspective of this location. Continue your walk... More

There are scenic views everywhere you look in this town but this one is my favorite. Quaint walkable area with lots to see. Parking is difficult. If find a spot grab it.

There are many shops to explore up and down the neck and at the end of the neck is a jetty where you can walk out to the end and get a good view of motif one from the back and the harbor.

The Bradley Wharf, Hedland Trail, and Rockport in general is a wonderful place to walk around --- browse, shop or look at the beautiful landscape!!! Fun to take pictures! A nice "adventure day"......

There is a small pocket park that, if you find it, offers the view in the photo. It was a quiet spot away from the tourist crowd!
