This was a great experience. We left Provincetown and shortly started seeing whales as soon as we got to the Stellwagen Bank National Marine Sanctuary. The whales were wonderful, even if for the most part they didn't photograph well (that's partly my fault). The boat company was great about maintaining social distancing and we had no issues. We saw many whales and thoroughly enjoyed the trip.

We had an amazing time. Perfect weather. Saw several whales being very active. We were very lucky. Alex was able to tell us SO much about the whales. Educational for sure. Staff did a great job cleaning and seating was socially distanced.

This was an amazing experience. We saw our first whale, a fin whale, within 15 minutes! Our naturalist guide was Alex and she was fantastic. We saw a mother and calf humpback and they were right next to the boat! On our return to port, we saw a huge pod of dolphins and the captain maneuvered the boat to encourage a playful interaction. It was totally amazing.

We were able to see a mother and baby humpback that spent a long time sleeping and moving around the boat. Unfortunately it was very foggy ( trip was cancelled day before ) John kept saying we had been out longer than we were supposed to but honestly I would rather have moved away from the pair that basically just laid there and tried to locate more whales within the 4 hour advertised period. Supposedly John saw a Minke whale but it was up and down before anyone else saw it. Please note I have been on many “ nature tours “ and understand we are not at the zoo. Seats were very wet, would have been nice to be offered paper toweling to wipe off our seats. Most distressing was that John who narrated had an exhalation valve on his mask which while protective for him does not protect those he was facing and speaking too. The company needs to review their policies and ensure guests safety!

Going on a whale watching tour was a first for us and we didn’t know what to expect. It can be hard to spot whales at first, but we had a naturalist as part of the boat crew who helped orient new people. During our trip we saw many whales and learned interesting facts about them.
