Love this museum with its emphasis on local cape cod artists in general and Provincetown artists in particular. Became a member a while ago; which I recommend not only because the membership supports the museum and its activities but also because it allows me to attend openings and participate in lectures and other activities at no or reduced cost. An absolute gem for art viewers. PAAM is a truly enjoyable experience. There is a broad and varied collection with something for every one. Well worth the visit.

Wonderful little museum filled with art that is uniquely Provincetown's. We loved the pride PAAM took in the abundant history of P-Town's artist. This place is a must see for art lovers on the Cape.

It has a wonderful book shop as well as some very good art to look at on the walls which changes periodically. The fellow at the desk was extremely kind. My bad leg was acting up and I could not stand long enough to look at the paintings in rooms with no benches, so he got me a folding chair.

The Museum holds a nice collection of art that is rarely seen but awe-inspiring. My second time there during the auction period.

With all the fine art galleries on the street it is surprising to find that they charge everyone to come in. Gets a little pricey if you have your family along.

Absolutely visit PAAM. It's a great small museum that only continues to improve with time. It's evident that the board and staff really care about what they do and how they do it.

Provincetown Art Association and Musuem (PAAM) Is located in the east end galley sections on Commercial Street in Provincetown. This is a great small art musuem. I am both a big fana as well as an artist/member of it. The exibits change often and are all top notch. Many are on the contemperary side. There are also many cutural lectures... More

Timely shows and permanent exhibits. As good as and definitely better than the Cape Cod Museum in Dennis. BTW, Provincetown is a vibrant and exciting place; you have not seen Cape Cod arts until you see Provincetown. The PAAM is modern, exciting, timely, and quite worthwhile. The rest of the Cape cannot hold a candle to it. If hub-bub is... More

Expensive entry fee with no discount for seniors. The museum was full of very contemporary art which we could not appreciate.
