We found this charter through our B&B in Chatham. They assured us that this is a reputable, knowledgeable captain. And that was certainly true. Chad was a great Captain, very personable. We saw so many whales and even spotted a few seals on our trip out. It was a wonderful experience and I encourage all to book with SeaSalt Charters.

Our so lives in Portland, Oregon, we live in Savannah, Ga. A long way from each other. When we realized that he would be on the east coast performing in Provincetown, we booked a last minute trip to the cape to visit with him. I decided to book a private whale watch charter. It was fantastic. Captain Chad was fun... More

On the day of our scheduled trip it was raining and miserable! Needless to say we were some what hesitant about going out on the boat as we didn't particularly want to get pelted with rain! I've been there & didn't need to experience it again. Our captain didn't mind going out as he would be in a covered area.... More

Wonderful! We would have been grateful to see a single whale, and we saw several. The small boat was terrific: we were close to the water and REALLY saw the whales, and Chad could maneuver for the best view while keeping a close but safe, responsible distance. Important point! We took my 83 yr old mother. We were worried that... More

I didn't realize when booking my whale watch with SeaSalt that they employed a fishing boat for their charters. I'm not sure how I missed that, but I'll blame the early happy hours during my vacation. Anyhow, was it ever a great "mistake." I love being on the water, so a fishing boat was much preferred over the huge whale... More

A fantastic trip with near perfect conditions. Chad was communicative and helpful when it came to making the arrangements. Jesse was informative, great company, entertaining and respectful of the customers and the environment. The whales were stunning and plentiful- it was genuinely a dream come true. Many thanks for making some really special memories for my family.

Whale watching was going to be a one time experience, so I spent the extra money to do the charter with Captain Chad of Seasalt Charters. Use their "split charter" link to get in with others. Captain Chad was great: calling to talk about planning trip and organizing myself and my son, along with another family. Great boat, small enough... More

We recently had the wonderful experience of going out with SeaSalt charters for a whale watching trip off of Cape Cod. I can't say enough about the experience! We went out on the semi-private charter. There were a total of 6 trippers plus Chad, our captain. That's it; no hoards trying to get the best place to see like on... More

The most SPIRITUAL MOVING experience I've EVER done!!! To see these magnificent creatures up close swimming beside and under and around the boat is beyond description. You could hear them breathing/blowing the air out of their blow holes! We decided on spending the extra money for a private charter instead of the big boats with hundreds of people much higher... I’ve literally gone to the end of the world to see whales (in Antarctica), and this whale-watching tour off the coast of PTown was hands down the best I’ve ever experienced! My friend and I went on a 5:00 pm sunset cruise with Sea Salt Charters and Captain Jesse, plus two other passengers. After a nice 30ish-minute boat ride off... More
