A fantastic trip with near perfect conditions. Chad was communicative and helpful when it came to making the arrangements. Jesse was informative, great company, entertaining and respectful of the customers and the environment. The whales were stunning and plentiful- it was genuinely a dream come true. Many thanks for making some really special memories for my family.

Whale watching was going to be a one time experience, so I spent the extra money to do the charter with Captain Chad of Seasalt Charters. Use their "split charter" link to get in with others. Captain Chad was great: calling to talk about planning trip and organizing myself and my son, along with another family. Great boat, small enough... More

We recently had the wonderful experience of going out with SeaSalt charters for a whale watching trip off of Cape Cod. I can't say enough about the experience! We went out on the semi-private charter. There were a total of 6 trippers plus Chad, our captain. That's it; no hoards trying to get the best place to see like on... More

The most SPIRITUAL MOVING experience I've EVER done!!! To see these magnificent creatures up close swimming beside and under and around the boat is beyond description. You could hear them breathing/blowing the air out of their blow holes! We decided on spending the extra money for a private charter instead of the big boats with hundreds of people much higher... I’ve literally gone to the end of the world to see whales (in Antarctica), and this whale-watching tour off the coast of PTown was hands down the best I’ve ever experienced! My friend and I went on a 5:00 pm sunset cruise with Sea Salt Charters and Captain Jesse, plus two other passengers. After a nice 30ish-minute boat ride off... More

I had suggested this to a couple I had in my dune tour truck several weeks ago. As a resident of Provincetown, I have been wanting to put on the SeaSalt Charter, but haven't had the time. Finally on July 2nd, I had time! I took my partner out for her first whale watch. It was more than I expected!... More

This private charter is so worth it. Being in a small boat allowed great maneuverability to get close to whales and we weren't fighting 100's of people to see the whales. The whales passed within feet of us and even went under our boat and we were only a few feet above the ocean. Jesse was a great tour guide... More

We were so close - we could even smell their breath! Since the boat is small (seats 6), it was extremely agile - we were able to follow the pods as they moved. Captain Jesse was knowledgeable, funny and knew right where to go for the best vantage point. We were able to see a young calf rolling in the... More

If you can afford to do a split charter it is an excellent way to see them whales. Took around 1.5 hours at often 30 knots to get there but well worth it . Not for people who get sea sick ! Captain Jesse was excellent.

Absolutely fabulous! Exceeded our expectations. We will go out with Sea Salt Charters again. We saw 3 whales breach! The whales were amazing. We watched them feed and 3 swam under the boat. We could smell the whales breath ....its fishy! Capt Jesse gave us a nice tour on the way out and definitely got us in the right location... More
