The Art House is a nice venue for a small show, but stay away from the show '5 to 9' with Varla Jean. It was not funny and bordered on highly inappropriate. Despite political views, one shouldn't joke about presidential assassination.
The Art House in Provincetown gets a amazing line-up of talent during the summer tourist season. I highly recommend the Varla Jean Merman show - "Bad Heroine". Bawdy, off-color, and very clever. The line-up also includes New York's best cabaret and Broadway talent.
Their summer season provides a broad range of musical and comedic entertainment with a large dose of camp. The theatres are by no means luxurious but they are well-staffed and the quick turnover of shows goes like clockwork.
