- diane r1 contributionCan’t wait to go back! This was a truly remarkable experience. A perfect way to free your mind and enjoy the outdoors. The horses were perfectly trained and absolutely breathtaking. The staff helped make it a fun and memory that will last a lifetime. I plan on going back in the spring with my family for the two hour trial ride. Don’t miss out on this opportunity!! They are open year round so you can chose your favorite season to try it out.Visited November 2023Traveled with friendsWritten November 8, 2023

Trail rides Pony rides Wagon rides & Riding lessons which I took recently with the owner Susan Connell & her daughter Julia Connell. Both very knowledgeable about everything equine. - Nora_S57Boston, Massachusetts61 contributionsGREAT if you have never been on ahorse. Otherwise, inflexible and soooooo slow. This would be a great experience for anyone who has never been on a horse. We were a group of 8 experienced riders in a private group, and it was not a good experience at all. The horses were soooooo slow and we stopped constantly. The guides kept shouting at us to move to the left or right of the dirt path, which seemed excessive and unnecessary and made it feel sort of unpleasant for everyone. Hard to get into zen on a slow trail ride when that was constant. The worst part for us, besides the slow pace that was inflexible, was that my 15 year old, who is an experienced dressage rider, asked to bring some water with her on the 85 degree day in case her allergies made her cough. The leader mumbled something about a possible saddle bag, and then just said no. I could understand not wanting to have water bottles for new riders, but my 15 year old was literally on a slow plodding mule, and really wanted to have access to water if her allergies caused a coughing fit. At Bobbys Ranch, a much more accommodating and fun trail ride, they gave her a saddle bag for her water bottle, because they knew we know how to ride horses. Also, we weren't in the woods the whole time, a lot of t he ride was on a road in a neighborhood., which was unexpectedVisited June 2024Traveled with friendsWritten June 20, 2024

We had a birthday party there for our 8 year old who is interested in horses. On the positives - it was easy to book on the website and the owner was quick to issue a refund for one guest who didn't come. The mini horses the kids rode were cute and tame. The kids had fun overall. It was also the only place I could find that still did parties post covid. Everyone I talked to seemed friendly, but there was no one person who seemed to be in charge of doing the party.
Negatives - there were no clear directions for how the birthday party was supposed to run. I had to keep finding people who looked like they worked there to see where we were supposed to go next. There was no coordinator to facilitate the party. Toward the end of riding time I asked if the birthday girl could go around one more time and was told no, even though there was still LOTS of time left to the 2 hour party and one child had declined to ride the horses.
Very overpriced for the service provided. For the price I paid, I would have expected to have a birthday coordinator present who made sure everything ran smoothly, everyone had fun, and made us feel like we got our money's worth. The party was essentially over at the 1.5 hour mark, even though it was listed as 2 hours of activity.

We booked a two hour ride on a Sunday this month of March 2023. Sam our guide was amazing and had a very relaxed demeanor. My husband and I had the best time riding with Sam, she was very attentive and informative. Given the snow and mud season we are in, the ride was perfect and the horses have great personalities.
Can't wait to go back, looking into the all day class for adults. Felt great to be outside and enjoying mother nature at her best.

My daughter and I went on a 1 hour trail ride yesterday. Scheduling was easy and convenient. All the female staff on the ground were great! Very welcoming, informative and made you feel at ease. The only negative was the male trail guide riding with us (name escapes me). He did not interact at all with any of us, just rode ahead of us drinking his coffee. When he did utter a few words he mumbled and none of us could hear him, no personality. Otherwise it was very fun, horses were great and shout out to the wonderful female staff and helpers yesterday!

Susan was very responsive when emailing and her daughter Julia was very welcoming when we arrived for our one hour trail ride. Everyone who worked there clearly loves their job and enjoys sharing the experience of riding horses with others. We were first time riders and I can't believe how easy and relaxed they made it feel.
Thank you for a very special mother/daughter day!!!

Took our family for a 2 hour trail ride (2pm-4pm) for my daughters 15 bday. My only complaint was the ride wasn’t actually 2 hours because it took us a bit to get all riders set up so we left after 2pm and we were back before 4:00 but otherwise, staff was awesome, horses were friendly and easy to handle, property was beautiful, food was great (small menu), and they offer other activities as well like live music, sleigh rides, etc. I will definitely return!

We did a one hour trail ride, and had a great time. The reviews that others had left were, in my experience, accurate... both the pros and the cons.
The pros: beautiful, well-trained horses. Most were rescue horses. The staff and the helpers were so kind and friendly. They took the time to introduce us to the horses, and clearly cared for them.
Cons: We did encounter the rude woman on our way out. Others have written about her as well. There’s a very friendly dog that greets customers at the ranch. The staff seemed perfectly fine when the dog greeted us when we arrived and we pet the dog. On our way out, we pet the dog again to say bye and the woman scolded us. You can have your rules, that’s fine... but unnecessary to be rude to customers. You’ll know her when you meet her!
Everyone else was great, though.

How do I schedule an appointment at Cornerstone? There is no website and when I called I could not understand the voice mail that mentioned their email address?

Hi Rick, Please see our availability and capability to book rides by viewing the reservation system calendar. You can access the reservation system from our web site.
Thanks for your patience! Our procedures help so we have all money matters squared away before people get here. Riders have noticed it helps them enjoy their time at the ranch even more. It also helps keep us from being distracted while we are safely getting people on/off horses.
Rides usually fill up so please book ASAP. Hope all these instructions help and I hope to see you soon for a ride with us!
