Something you can't miss....home of the rock, this quaint little park is nested along the bay and welcomes cool breezes and great photo spots. Some great history and great atmosphere, a place to take it all in and still have time leftover to walk the...More

We were visiting Plymouth on holiday and decided to visit here as well. The history about the pilgrims landing in Plymouth is very interesting indeed. The monument building is a tribute to those original pilgrims who came over from England and landed in 1620.

It had been a long time since we were there last. Pleasant surprise at the myriad of changes. The walk along the water, parking. I remember actually standing on Plymouth Rock! The enshrinement I guess was necessary to keep people from chipping away at it....More

It’s not that spectacular, but it is easy reach if you visit Plymouth anyway. I think it is self-evident to go there and show respect. It is part of American history. The park itself is a nice place to relax.

What else can you say, the park is by the sea and has a few benches to sit on, the over the top memorial with its colonnades is just daft, as the artefact being protected is a Rock!!, even this rock is split in two...More

This is the main attraction in Plymouth. The rock is not as large as it's reputation. However, it is worthwhile to see. Walk the entire area and look out into the bay to get a good grasp of how the first Pilgrims might have felt.

There is no reason to visit Plymouth if you do not visit this place. It isn't anything big and fancy but it is history.

To know the story behind "The Rock" and history of the landing and how important this was to the formation of our nation it is awesome. The bay is beautiful, but the sad part is how commercialized the area has become. There are some historical...More

I finally got to see "the rock". How cool! Even get a glimpse of its aging. There is a crack on it that has been patched. Just to think that pilgrims stepped on that rock to come to America hundreds of years ago is a...More
