Yes, it's a rock with a date stamp on it. There's conspiracy theories around whether this is the actual rock, so read the back story first to make the visit more interesting. Since there's no charge... 5 stars!!!

It ha it all: the rock, the monuments. It is possible to have a free tour by the rangers, a good way to hear the stories.

In addition to viewing Plymouth Rock, this park has well maintained walking paths and green areas. The views out over the water and back to the old architecture enhances your visit. There are numerous benches where you can sit, rest and take in the views.

The park was a nice place to visit. The Mayflower II was gone for renovations, which was disappointing. However it will be nicely renovated for their 400th anniversary! It was cool when we visited, but I bet it's really nice in the summer. Plymouth Rock is kept within the park.
