It's is a bit too rocky at the beginning of the beach for lounging, but walk to the left a little and you will have a nice sandy area. They charge for parking in the summer - so be prepared for that. The views are...More

The sandy Long Beach peninsula looks very idyllic and inviting from the Plymouth Rock Monument. We started to drive out on the beach road but the road is purposely kept bumpy to reduce traffic and part way out the road turns to soft sand which...More

Great views of Plymouth Harbor but not so good for swimming unless it is high tide. There are bathrooms and lifeguards in season. Parking is ample but very dusty and dirty area.

We were here the day of the eclipse, and enjoyed the beach very much! Searching for sea glass is fun...I like the green the best! The beach is very rocky, and the water ...cold!

This looks like it was a hopping place...back in the 1950's. The driving area is rutty, and there are long stretches of broken concrete barriers. It looks more like a rundown urban area. There was a restaurant, but it wasn't very tempting. If you go...More

We were in MA to sight see but did spend a day on Long Beach. It is very rocky so don't plan on playing frisbee. Seems most if not all beaches in MA are rocky. If you are looking for long stretches of white sandy...More

I would not go to this beach if you mind a few rocks. However the beach was beautiful. Sandy's the snack bar was a quaint little bar with a peaceful view of the ocean. $15 to park. We had a great time here.

We went to Sandy's for a quick bite, and tried to enjoy the water, wind, birds etc.....however the rotten seaweed made this beach smell like a sewer. We didn't stay long.

We did a ton of swimming and laying in the sun. There were a lot of people, and the beach is a little rocky, but as even came it was very peaceful!
