After seeing the movie "Monumental," we were thankful to incorporate a visit here during a New England trip. It's a lovely monument, and interesting to read the inscriptions, although the addition of a Pokestop did help entertain our kids for a bit. Ha!

Missed this in past visits to Plymouth. You can drive and park right at the monument. Was cool to walk around and really big. Amazing that it was made so long ago.

The name was changed from a "Pilgrim" monument some time ago. It is huge. Biblical concepts are the main point here. The main statue represents Faith with her right hand pointing to Heaven. In her left hand Faith is clutching a Bible. Around Faith are statues representing Morality, Law, Education, and Liberty. We were alone when we went as it... More

This is a really impressive monument. It is a few minutes from the Plymouth rock & worth a stop. We read a description online to get a better idea of the significance of some of the images on the monument. It is too bad there is no "official" sign/description at the site. There is a gravel circular driveway & is... More

Worth finding and getting out of the car to read and observe up close. The circular drive around the monument allows you to stop on the back side and when you walk to the monument you can get a good view of the bay. Very informative descriptions on the monument and a very quiet atmosphere for contimplation.

This is a great place that no one really comes to see. It is worth the 2 minutes off the beat and path. Its size is just amazing and its free. Make the time it is worth it.

This was our (me and my 11 yr old son) last stop in Plymouth and in so glad we did. We got there about sunset it was just gorgeous!!! The monument was amazing, and huge! I couldn't believe we were the only ones there. It really is a must see! But do this last or you will be disappointed with... More

Amazing size of this monument. It takes your breath away. Beauty as she sparkles in the sun. Reading each side of her just takes you back. I Loved This!

Very impressive statue. Had no idea the size of the monument until we were upon it. One special note of interest that our tour guide had told us was the women that are featured on the statue did not have eyes because the thought back when it was made women were devoid of intelligence! Not sure if this is true... More

Went here as a last stop. No crowds so great time for photos. Huge structure. History buffs will love this. Plan on spending no more than a couple of hours here at best.
