The staff/crew was very nice. I saw a whale which again nice. My review for being terrible is related to how they didn't live up to their word (their website) in regards to COVID and safe practices. I chose to go on this whale watching based on their websites promise in regards to COVID and this is what I experienced: -On the boat, no social distancing was in place. -Face masks were not worn by all guests -I was at the back of the boat a woman threw up overboard into the wind flew back at us. Told a male crew member he NEVER wiped down the railings following that. -Tried to go inside and more than 10 people throwing up again no social distancing. I don’t get seasick so I don’t think of that being possible. It should have been put on as a possibility on their site due to the pandemic and how it’s transferred. While I chose to do the tour(I'm an adult I made the choice) I went into it trusting Captain John's business. This business and Captain Russell (Cap at the time) failed to make me feel safe and I had no way to remove myself from that situation. This is a crazy time, we all take chances daily with COVID but we should be able to trust a business is going to do what they say on their website and this business failed in my opinion. So, if you worry about COVID, please don't go on this tour, if you have a problem with people throwing up due to seasickness please do not go on this tour. Again, the staff was nice, friendly, knowledgeable about their job. I did request a refund as they failed and even said I'd not write a review as these are new times - they offered a gift card (which why would I trust you). In my opinion, they care more about their money than making sure the customer is happy. They just can't, in my opinion, handle/enforce the "new" safety conditions needed. (pictures of their website and ppl not wearing masks)

Check in process was easy. Plenty of seating with tables. Bathrooms & whole boat was clean and they were cleaning on the ride as well. Whole staff was great but Kim at the snack/drink bar was awesome and went above and beyond to make sure our ride out and back were even better!

This review is for the Plymouth to Provincetown ferry trip. I'd like to give somewhere between average and good but that's not an option. First off I had a great experience with their customer service. I had bought a groupon last year that expired and couldn't figure out how to use it for the value I paid. I called up and they were able to make my booking for me and I just had to pay the difference. Couldn't have been easier and the woman I spoke with was very pleasant. Fast forward to the day of and we got a seat on the upper deck. Unfortunately even though they told everyone to social distance, that wasn't an option. Looks like they still sold the same amount of tickets they always do so we were right next to our neighbors. Not even a foot in between. You do have to wear a mask the whole trip so that was the saving grace. We left about 10 minutes late as they let a couple more people board who got there late. The trip over was beautiful. The water was so calm. Trip back was uneventful as well. Left on time. I would definitely go again as it's a great way to get to P-town from Plymouth in an hour and a half. I'd just go when we're not in a pandemic and I don't mind sitting next to strangers again.

Great ferry ride from P-Town to Plymouth. A group of us rode bikes from Plymouth to P-town and the crew was great getting all the bikes on and secured for us. Nice ferry ride. Crew was excellent and super friendly.
