What a great experience! Jan is a very talented storyteller. Very knowledgeable about the history of the area. We were riveted the entire time. Wear sneakers,(it’s a walking tour) there are stairs and they might be slippery if they’re wet. This stuff is for real people!

I first went on this tour with a group of my friends for my birthday in 2016. I've never been a big believer in the paranormal, but have always took interest in the subject. Despite my skepticism, the tour proved to be so enjoyable for a night out with friends that we returned FOUR times (just as fun each time). In 2018 my friends and I went on a fifth tour, on which we paid to stay the night. Little chill inducing activity- the toilet flushed on its own once while we were using a Ouija board (even the spirits gotta go), but nonetheless an incredibly enjoyable experience. Tour guides were very kind to us (the group was 16-17 year olds, which many would be a little nervous about housing in a rather antique home like Captain Taylor's), and even gave us tickets for another tour which we definitely plan on attending once Covid has settled down. The tour itself is a perfect balance between Salem history, and the spooky nature of said history. Again, I'm a skeptic, so when I capture images of orbs on the tour I quickly dismiss them as dust particles got in a beam of light, but I did once get a picture of a mirror when I was alone in a room which had a face in it. Still trying to explain it this day. All in all a very fun night to be had. Highly recommend!

Banded up taking this to her around Halloween which made it even better. The guides were fantastic it was very historical we learned a lot of information about the different landmarks in the city and I even saw some ghosts that I got in a few photos after the fact. I would highly recommend it, even if you don't see any spirits it's worth doing!

Easy evening walk through historic Plymouth. We were provided lanterns and a knowledgeable guide. We personally didn't experience any ghostly encounters this time but the history lesson we received was very enjoyable and informative! The price was a bit high, though I would definitely do it again next time I am in the area.

I brought my teenage daughters and we had a very informative evening. The guide was very friendly, professional and knowledgable. I guess my only complaint with her would be ; sometimes she didn't project her voice enough so it was difficult to hear. Maybe a cordless mike would help. Other than that I enjoyed the history lesson and the stories of the macabre.
