We visited before heading to Carver for King Richards Faire. It was really a time filler until the faire opened. My husband and 2 year old didn't really care but i liked it. Plenty of free parking nearby. It was $12 per adult. But the...More

If this was the first transatlantic cruise ship, we have come a long way. This was a very worth while visit. The staff on the ship was in period costume and very willing to answer questions. They were very knowledgeable even with questions we thought...More

I really enjoyed this great replica. We had the opportunity to listen to a great person that knew the history of the ship and explained all he knew. There was just one other actor there that explained some items. It is very hard to believe...More

Reading about history is one thing, but seeing it in person is another. You can't imagine the cramped conditions, and how the pilgrims handled food, time of day, navigation, and sleeping arrangements. All these things are explained to you by actors in character portraying Mayflower...More

My wife and I toured this 1957 replica of the original Mayflower in which the Pilgrim Fathers sailed to America. It was interesting to see how cramped the conditions must have been for the more than 100 passengers. Thinking about how primitive conditions were engenders...More

Volunteers abound to explain the building of the Mayflower II before boarding. Once onboard the people are in character and are very interesting to listen to talk with.

Very interesting to see the small space that was available for the travelers. It is not something for people in wheelchairs or with walkers.

We got stuck with a group of school children and feel that we did not get to appreciate it as much as we could have. They try to keep you moving through the ship with people stationed on different parts of the ship to tell...More

A visit to Mayflower II really helps one understand the hardships endured by our forebears who first came to America. The size alone gives one pause. It is so small and the idea of an ocean voyage is daunting. All staff members were extremely knowledgeable...More

This is a replica of the original Mayflower. It is historically correct and has actors on board explaining the difficulties they had on the voyage. The actors speak in the tongue of the day, even with old English accents. Amazing to think that 104 people...More

We had the Boston go cards that included the Mayflower II so I can't say how much it costs but you might want to check out the Boston go card if you want to do more than the Mayflower. I would definitely recommend the... More

The Mayflower is on the State Pier, downtown on the waterfront. There is angle street parking for a good-sized truck, but not for the trailer. About a half-mile north, maybe a quarter-mile beyond the Town Pier and the... More
