If I could use words such as "delightful," "whimsical" and "gem" without cringing, I would flood my review with those. As it stands, though, it's a lovely bookstore - for kids and grown ups alike. Great selection and recommendations; lots of signed-by-authors books; helpful, knowledgeable...More

This is not your typical bookstore, but one that needs to be explored and savored. It's like stepping back in history to a time when bookstores were like meeting places. You can get a coffee, light lunch, or a glass of wine and relax while...More

My husband Chris and I enjoyed the Casino because it was small and there was plent of room for him to navigate his scooter. I came out $66.00 dollars richer so that was nice as well. We had burgers and fries at the B Good...More

There is a nice cafe and seating area which is unique for a local smaller store like this. Because of the high ceiling and lay out of store, store feels large, lively, yet relaxing

What a beautiful place. Look for a good book and enjoy a coffee. They have delicious treats from Twist, a gluten-free bakery! They have great gifts, items other than books. You'll love it, it's a really special place!

Nice touch to the center of Plainville. Books, coffee, snacks, reading room, small theatre. This place is very charming.

Nice little independent bookstore founded by the "Wimpy Kid" author. Lots of wood inside, some comfy chairs, a cute little cafe bar for coffee and sandwiches. It's hard to find good independent bookstores--the only one that pops into mind is my old favorite Brookline Booksmith...More

If you live in the area, this bookstore is something you and the kids definitely want to come to. Books and items are specifically chosen, and there is a nice selection. Rather than being overwhelmed by a large corporate bookstore, this one is nicely sized....More

The author of the Wimpy Kid books opened this bookstore earlier this year (2015). We stopped in with our grandchildren (ages 10 and 13) on a Tuesday afternoon in July. The selection is small, but well chosen. Both kids found books to interest them, as...More
