I love the $10 deal because it's so cheap, however, be warned that there are usually a lot of teenagers that go, and run over your skies while waiting in line. If you can grin your teeth and bear it, it's definitely worth going on...More

March 15th was a $10 Thursday deal and we got on the slopes at 2:30 and skied 17 runs until 5:30. The eight inches they got last night was fluffy and soft. There were no lines and the 8,800 feet vertical we managed was just...More

Great small mountain with all the expected amenities. Very much less crowded than other mountains. Nice bar selection and nice restaurant with sit down service is available. Ski rental equipment not quite as sharp/conditioned as some other mountains and some 'personalities' during the rental process....More

We travelled up from NY looking for some skiing and chose to stay in nearby Pittsfield. The area has a surprising number of ski areas that are not very well advertised. This one was reecomended by the waitress in my hotel. It is a perfect...More

Nice little resort that has remained frozen in time with no significant improvement in infrastructure. Needs serious updating to facility to draw larger crowds.

We had a family vacation in the Berkshires and spent an afternoon tubing at Bousquet. Great location, great tubing area with 3-4 runs. They have a moving sidewalk lift, but we were there during the snowbomb and too much snow fell that it wasn’t working...More

Bousquet Summer Park versus Jiminy Peak (1 Reply)
Hello all: We're a family with 2 boys (age 6 & 3) going to the Berkshires for a short vacation. We're staying in Hancock. We did go to the Jiminy Peak Adventure Park last summer. Jiminy was fun - we liked the Mountain Coaster. I just found on the web that Bousquet mountain has a summer Park with 3 big water-slides as well as a play-pool with small water-slides that might appeal to my youngest. Bousquet and Jiminy are two different beasts. Jiminy has more of a refined resort feel, while Bousquet is your hometown mom-and-pop place. The Adventure Park at Bousquet is smaller than Jiminy, but it's also cheaper, and then, of course, there's the waterslides. If you're looking to have that resort feel, don't care about the waterslides and can spend a little more, then Jiminy is your place. If you're looking for water activities, and want to stretch your dollar farther, head to...More
