This was a FANTASTIC experience!! Parking at the venue itself is a bit limited, however the theater company suggests several free nearby areas within easy walking distance. The colorful outside of the building makes it easy to spot, there’s a little cafe inside, plus it’s cool even though very warm outside. This is a relatively small theater, however the seating was amazing!! As a 4’10” woman, I nearly always have trouble seeing over heads, but had absolutely no problem at all. The play we saw was billed as a “world premiere,” a one-man storyteller of the Holocaust, and it was RIVETING. The actor never stumbled or faltered even a little, and the timing of a very professional stage crew was phenomenal.

We saw "Who Could Ask for Anything More?" at the tent. The caliber of the performers was stupendous. The range and playfulness of their voices, and their choreography lit up the Gershwin repertoire even more. I will see other productions from this company. One note, There are cheap tickets to be had in "the bubble." The bubble is actually the parking lot. My party was quite upset that we were the only ones in "the bubble."

Aa Boca Raton residents, we were looking forward to “Boca” at the Barrington Stage. The concept looked promising, 10 retired New Yorkers, mostly Jews, in a series of sketches.

As residents of Boca, we could certainly imagine lots of good material. On a daily basis, retirees around us, almost entirely New Yorkers, mostly Jews, act in all sorts of hysterically funny and ridiculous ways. Lots of good material, all around - for sure!

Bits of the written play had a little promise, but overall, the play was silly, and fell flat. Although I never walk out of a play at intermission, I was tempted, although I didn’t. In retrospect, I should have walked out, because nothing improved. Surely, one of the absolutely worst plays in a long lifetime of play going. Really bad

Debra Jo Rupp gave an outstanding performance in this one-woman portrayal of Dr. Ruth. We loved the show, the location and the theater.

Whether it's a revival playing at the MainStage, something suitable for their smaller more intimate venue or fabulous cabaret, Barrington Stage is a favorite of locals as well as tourists. Excellent quality and choice of productions. I had to choose a month I traveled for my review, but I am a full timer who grew up going to Broadway and off-Broadway.

We have seen several shows at Barrington Theater and always been amazed at the quality of the productions. The most recent "Ragtime" was a surprise, excellent and heart breaking at the same time. Among others to remember was the intense "The Chosen " and, being a Gilbert and Sullivan fan, I loved "The Pirates of Penzance" with it's spectacular choreography. A show at this theather is always a welcome treat.

I just saw Barrington Stage's presentation of the Creative Place international's production of Jefferey Sweet's excellent and timely play, Kunstler. Ingratiatingly acted by Jeff McCarthy who is ably supported by Erin Roche, the play has been lovingly directed by Meagan Fay who allows McCarthy to delve into the soul of the great man. The set, lighting and sound designers (James Fenton, Betsy Adams, and Will Severin) do splendid work in keeping us riveted to the play, which moves swiftly through its 90-some minutes. A smart and important production.

The Barrington Stage company is a wonderful theater. Every performance we have seen over more than 5 years, both on main stage and second stage have been extraordinary! Broadway could not be better!

From the opening to the closing, the acting, dancing , costuming and singing were wonderful. Th staging was great and the pit orchestra was very professional I kept asking my self if I was really in a regional theater.
