Overview
More
The Berkshire Carousel is a functional classic wooden carousel, with hand carved and hand painted wooden horses that were built, carved and painted by hundreds of dedicated volunteers over an 11 year period of time, that is affordable family entertainment offering Birthday parties, event bookings, and art & educational classes. Our carousel building is air conditioned and heated for use and visits. We have an on site Gift Shop and Concessions Stand that offer drinks, goodies, ice cream, and popcorn, as well as an off street parking lot for visitors to park in. A typical ride lasts between 2 - 3 1/2 minutes and you can choose to ride one of 32 horses, 1 donkey, a rocking chariot, an ADA Handicap Chariot, and an old fashioned spinning tub. All of our horses have names, histories, and stories. Stop by our carousel and Come Along for The Ride! Just a Quick note: We are now CLOSED for the Winter season. We are shutdown for 2017 and will reopen in Spring 2018.

My middle granddaughter had her 9th birthday party at the carousel. The volunteers were very nice to all the kids. The girls got instructions on painting a carousel horse. Got lots of rides and had a blast! Beautiful carousel. Great time for the kids.
