We visited after a day at the beach and were not disappointed. The wings were delicious and pretzel sticks tasted freshly baked. Our server, Caroline, provided excellent service and even helped us find other things to do I the island.

Had a great time. Stopped in for an afternoon drink and ran into an old friend. We had a couple more beers, great service. My wife saw the menu and we decided to stay for supper. For an unsophisticated drinking establishment the food was most excellent. I had a steak the wife had a burger, both were cooked to perfection. We... More

Saw this 6-5 guy walk in holding dog. Held the dog up to his chest and dropped it. Next thing I see the guy behind the bar serving drinks. Unfortunately the people there think they can treat animals and customers like crap. Maybe the police should know this a-hole works there. Good chance they are looking for him.

My husband and I strolled upon Soul Kitchen Night after dinner on Thursday night. The Ritz is a total dive bar with a great bartender named Andy. They have Soul/Blues music the entire night. What a great way to end the night and burn off calories from dinner! The Mark Grandfield Band at 10 pm was very good and we... More

This is a great local bar, a really nice "dive" bar. We had couple of great drinks there and a few laughs with the bartender and some of the local regulars.

Chef Ben deForest moves over from the Red Cat Kitchen to the Ritz for the winter. The Ritz Cafe is open for lunch and for dinner. Prices are VERY reasonable and the food is homestyle and delicious. I've had the "Blue Plate Special" several times and each time it has been sensational. The Blue Plate Special is always $10. The... More

I went because I knew from eating at his Red Cat Kitchen that the new chef Ben DeForest is terrific. I am 70+ years old and worried that the Ritz bar noise would be annoying. I went at 6 p.m.and I lucked into a night on which a good acoustic guitarist was playing (not too loud) Ate the best crab... More

The Ritz cafe caught our eye as we wandered about Oak Bluffs (desperation for a beer was kicking in as we were staying in "dry" Vineyard Haven). We went for dinner & to the Ritz for afters - good call as the bar was busy & buzzy without being horribly over-crowded....a proper bar at last in Martha's Vineyard!

A former spot to find the local island wine-os and drunks has turned a corner with great live music and a outstanding craft beer selection. Paid a $5 cover on both Friday and Saturday night, but it was well worth it to see Mike Benjamin (of Entrain fame) followed by blues the following night. The dance floor was diverse, all... More

We went there both Sunday and Monday nights and had a blast. Drinks are cheap (considering your on the vineyard) they had a DJ Sunday and Karaoke Monday night, it is for sure a dive bar but was great for people watching and dancing, it's the kind of place where you can get up by yourself and dance and nobody...
