Stopped in really quick to take pics, maybe take a ride next time. All of the riders seemed to enjoy the carousel itself.

Never have I ever ridden a carousel like this one. Old fashioned charm and the competitive aspect of finding that one brass ring! You just gotta do it.

Love going here with the kids. They like to see who can get the most rings on the horses. We have been here many times.

This carousel is a work of art harkenning back to a simpler time. This is certainly part of the reason I have fond memories of my summers on Martha's Vineyard. Go be a kid again and remember what it is like, before the World beat...More

The Flying Horses is one of my favorite things, period. It's beautiful and affordable, grabbing the rings are great (I was as proud of getting a gold ring at 30 as at 8). A must do in Oak Bluffs.

Note doesn't open until Saturday Memorial Day weekend! That goes for all museums on the island!, except the Camp Meeting Museum was open prior to Memorial Day weekend.

This Carousel is a landmark in the town of Oak Bluffs. Gorgeous hand carved horses. This town has awesome shops, great restaurants and cafes. A little bit of everything in this area around the Flyng Horses.

I am not sure how long in the year they stay open, it is under cover inside a building area. Google it or maybe they have their own website.
