Alternative art — a “must see”
Jul 2019 • Friends
An absolutely unexpected find! This art conception will take your breath away as you walk in. Then, after also seeing the minimalist art collection and “Not a Pretty Picture” there, be sure to walk over to the chapel (less than a block away) to see another mind-blowing exhibit dedicated to 9/11. I can hardly wait to learn more about Eric Rudd, in particular. Don’t miss this! Worth the short drive once in the Berkshires. Joanna Symmonds

We walked through this converted church, now an art museum.

Much of the art featured Eric Rudd, and there were pieces small and big. The church itself is impressive in the architecture, and it was near many other smaller art museums/galleries. My wife and I were in for about a $5 fee between the two of us and we enjoyed it thoroughly.

The best part of the museum was getting to meet the family of the artist. Great information and many large pieces of work to appreciate

Primarily the converted church serves as a seasonal display with a permanent collection of works by the artist Eric Rudd. There is also space for a curated annual show of regional artists. The museum closes during the off season.

We had no idea what to expect and were very pleasantly surprised by the variety and quality of this museum's exhibits. The exhibits were geared to please both adults and children and we were quite impressed with the excellent signage, fine curation, and creativity shown. We will return.

Fabulous artist with a dynamic collection of art sculpture, paintings and drawings both from his own private collection and from other artists.

It's incredible to exhibit a living artists work; obtaining a true perspective of their past and current inspirations.

Anyone with an appreciation for contemporary art and art space will enjoy this museum.

Eric Rudd is a fabulous person and a fantastic artist.
