A wonderful garden cemetery, with ponds, etc., similar to the famous Mt. Auburn Cemetery in Cambridge, MA.

Great For walkers. Beautifully laid out ....lots of flowers plants walking trails never many people. Mostly flat with some small inclines

I spend a great deal of time here - I love watching the wildlife and they have a ton of it here (at least used to) - birds, bunnies, ect... (they have a yellow hawk and a blue heron that spend ALOT of time there)....More

Newton Cemetery is an arboretum in the middle of Newton. It is a very peaceful place for a walk. It is also a welcoming cemetery.

This large, beautiful cemetery is also an arboretum and is well worth a visit if you want a beautiful, peaceful walk. I'm amazed I didn't know about it, it's just as beautiful as the more famous Mt. Auburn and Forest Hills cemeteries.
