My wife and I hike around this reservation in the fall. The trails are easy and there are no obstructions along the way. If you are lucky you will find the garden on the other side of the green line tracks.

We are in our 70s and took our two grandchildren, 4 and 6, on the walk through Hammond Pond Reservation. The trails are well-marked; the high cliffs on one side and the pond on the other are invitations to small children but the children were...More

Lovely setting. Good for a walk or a more strenuous hike. I take my dogs and they love having a dip in the lake.

I have walked this reservation for 30 years. Wonderful and varied habitat. Be sure to go on both sides of the tracks. The Webster area was an old estate with the relics of very elaborate English type garden. Great rock climbing, always something new.

Hammond Pond Reservation has nice, easy walking trails. It is well-known by rock-climbers for some big ledges there, so it's interesting to watch people scaling. Some nice views of Hammond Pond. It's really a little jewel, surrounded, as it is, by big shopping malls and...More

An urban oasis bisected by Hammond Pond Parkway and the Green Line I've found no solitude here! Parking is best at the back of the Mall by the pond but you must contend with mall employee parking year 'round and holiday shoppers packing the place...More
