Afternoon whale watch on Labor Day was a blast! We spent a lot of time observing two very active humpback whales and had the good fortune to encounter a big pod of dolphins on the way back to port. To top it off our trip ended with a giant rainbow over the river! The crew was very efficient and our tour left and returned exactly on time. The naturalist on board did a great job explaining what we were seeing but also allowing passengers to just observe. She seemed genuinely excited to talk about the animals we saw and her enthusiasm really enhanced our experience. The boat is large and comfortable, and there’s a full galley with large selection of food and drinks for those who want.

My boyfriend and I had a GREAT experience on the Captain's Lady lll! It was a little sad at first when we didn't see whales for most of the tour but then at the end there were SO MANY whales that it was unbelievable! I know they can't control the whales but the crew did their best to locate them and then explain all the different whales out there! It was truly an amazing experience and I highly recommend this boat! They even have like ACTUAL food that they can cook on this ship. Great tour and great crew. Thank you again guys :)

The boat is a decent size, galley has food and drinks. Crew and naturalist were informative and welcoming. We saw a lot of whales and enjoyed the narration and history of the whales. It was a great experience. Well worth the reasonable cost for a wonderful day on the water. I would do this again.
